Creative Mindful Drawing/Painting sessions for Everyone

Hi everyone! My classes are designed for aspiring artists and designers. I have a master's degree in Industrial design (car & product design) with more than 7 years working experience and teaching. Regardless your level you are all welcome to join my class and learn core design skills such as prespective, industrial design sketching, rendering, photoshop and portfolio preparation. I also teach drawing and oil painting with a focus on representational art. Through my course you will learn how to observe and appreciate nature in order to represent it effectively through drawing or painting. You will learn to draw and paint using the traditional techniques of the old masters such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio and the impressionists.

EN - For a discovery class, we will take two hours to learn the basics of sewing machines and basic stitches by completing a small project. - For those already comfortable with a sewing machine, we'll discuss a project you'd like to work on (I can suggest ideas if you need inspiration ;) ) and create a plan for guidance throughout the process from reading a pattern to finishing seams. - Interested in trying out a sewing machine or overlocker before taking the plunge? Don't hesitate to take a discovery class to try out my machines. -Sewing is very flexible. I am an architect graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Being also a teacher in secondary and higher education, I would like to pass on my knowledge to students, Having studied at Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts, I was able to develop my skills both in the design of a project and in the fun side of designing a project that is drawing Then I found well being in the drawing of landscape and drawing perspectives, .... That's why I would like to transmit my knowledge in technical drawing and sketches of streets, landscape, to people who are passionate ....

You don’t have to be a professional artist to have the right to create. Spontaneous drawing doesn’t require a license to draw a line. We have our own well of images inside us which can be re-activated. But how? To draw spontaneously, a practical method, offering suggestions and advice, allow us to overcome the anxiety of the blank page.

The class is meant for those who wish to enter the world of performance art - an experimental art form that originated in the 1960s in the United States. My intention with the lessons is to teach a student how to begin an independent artistic practice as a performance artist through practical exercises, readings, and analysis of performances (on photos, video and in events we would visit together). The basic theory and history of performance art are introduced so the student can get oriented in the respective art context. If desired, the class can go deeper in theory with the readings from the related field of Performance Studies. While performance ART is an artistic field, performance STUDIES is wider academic discipline working with the notion of performance not only in art but also in the sports, rituals, play, every day, sex, technology, business and elsewhere. I base the class on my years-long artistic, theoretical and curatorial practices and on my education in the field (BA in Site-Specific Performance, ongoing MA in Live Art and Performance Studies, BA in General Art Studies).

My course is dedicated to the 'basic' rules of drawing and after that finding your own path, your own style. If you know how to use perspective, composition, capture the right proportions, capture the volume and be attentive to detail, you are fully prepared for making any kind of art you are into. When we will reach this point, I will also help you to go further and develop your own style. I will teach you how to work with visual observation, perspective, volume, light and shadow, composition, proportions, and sketching using graphic material. In order to learn how to draw you need a lot of practice, so I will assign some homework as well. The course is suitable for people of all ages and with different aims, it is always possible to change the learning program for individual purposes. I've been painting since 20 years ago, recently I start working with children, in small groups (3 max) in class we enjoy working in small proyects. I enjoy teaching children through art and music. We work different techniques, depend on the kids Age.

Drawing student in La Cambre, I propose to help you deepen your artistic activity by helping in different areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture and textile activities (embroidery, sewing). •This class is for aspiring home cooks. The focus is to learn how to cook five very simple and healthy recipes for yourself and your family. You'll learn a variety of cooking techniques to cut down on costs and time in a relaxed and fun cooking environment. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, my eight-year-old brother is able to make most of these recipes.

A workshop for adults wishing to start or perfect their approach to life-style drawing. Several techniques and break times are proposed in order to multiply the graphical possibilities. Classes are offered by two ESA St-Luc graduates 2007 graduates each with many years of practice.We will also provide you with various basic materials (papers, pencils, charcoal etc).

Getting started in photography doesn’t have to be challenging. I'll start with digital and analog camera basics and provide a thorough explanation on photography elementary concepts like Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. I will also provide a guide on Color Theory in photography and how to do Narrative photography. If possible, there will be practice classes on the field taking pictures around the city. If the person is interested, I will also teach the basics about analog photography (including how to handle an analog camera, the types of roles that exist and how the developing process works). I will use mainly videos and my own presentations but I can provide a range of additional materials if necessary.

Methodology The proposed teaching aims to develop the plastic qualities and the personality of the pupil through the drawing as well as his sense of the observation by various playful and inventive exercises. Learn to draw differently, avoid automatism and break free / detach from habits to develop new graphic qualities. My objective is to allow the development of the student through this medium and to ensure the continuation of his practice. I have been giving drawing lessons for a few years now and I like to share my activity through amateur teaching. I particularly developed skills by deepening observational drawing (live model, still life, landscape, architecture, objects, shadow work, tracing, one-line-drawing). My methods take into account the discovery of the sensitive applicable to drawing, the mastery of its visual faculties, of a technique of representations ranging from academic to letting go, promoting personal development as well as one's own style of representation. My pedagogical approach still requires a student interested and curious to learn. All ages are possible.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.
