I'm Jonathan, a UK born Australian with a passion for photography, reading and writing. I've taught English to adult learners in both 1-on-1 and classroom settings.

I specialise in tutoring languages such as English, Italian, Spanish and French. The extensive work experience I have obtained over the years, has equipped me with the set skills to teach languages. Having gone through the process myself, I am confident I have a deep understanding of the difficulties one may undergo when learning a language. I ́m Michael, Ph.D. I love languages and find pleasure in teaching them.
My mother tongue is German and I am an experienced German teacher for all age groups from 3 - 80-year-old learners.
Besides German, I have taught English and French from an early age. My level in both languages is C1. Let me know your learning goals and we will figure out a manageable way to reach them.
I have been working in Germany, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. These living experiences have made me very adaptable. My main focus is to realize the goals of the students – may this be a successful B1 exam, a business language training, or preparation for an anamnesis examination as a medical doctor who would like to work in Germany.
I have experience in teaching individual or group lessons online via Zoom.
I speak other languages: Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Indonesian and am capable to explain vocabulary or grammar using them.
