I can teach for any age (music school, conservatory, university). I offer tutoring in classical and jazz music theory. My course would be for children, pupils and students who have any problems with solfeggio or harmony comprehension. I am willing to prepare people for exams and admission exams and also to teach music interested people.

I am Rok from Slovenia. I study trumpet at the University of Art in Graz. Before Graz, I graduated from high school in music in Slovenia. I speak 5 languages: Slovenian, German, English, Croatian and a little bit of Italian. Although I study trumpet, I have always been very interested in music theory. I am well versed in classical music theory, ear training, harmony, theorem and jazz music theory. Recently, I have noticed that many people have problems understanding music theory because they are too complicated and abstract. With my knowledge of music theory, I want to solve all problems and show how simple and fun music theory can be.

Mein Ziel ist es, dass Sie sich von der Musik inspiriert und bereichert fühlen und natürlich versuchen, gemeinsam zu genießen. Es ist kein Mindestniveau für den Unterricht erforderlich, egal ob Sie Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener für Violine-Viola oder Musiktheorie sind, mein Unterricht wird an Ihre Bedürfnisse und Wünsche angepasst, um das Beste aus jedem Schüler herauszuholen. Ich glaube es ist wichtig, sich den Lern- Prozess ganzheitlich anzuschauen. Ich bin der Meinung, dass du selbst die Musik bist. All das wunderbare und schöne daran bringst du mit. Die Gitarre ist das Mittel des Ausdrucks, das du gewählt hast und WOW! Es ist definitiv ein cooles und es ist sehr amazing, dass du den Schritt überhaupt wagst und es ernst(er) nehmen willst :)

Also... einfach nur Skalen und Theorie lernen ist nicht meine Herangehensweise. (obwohl da kein Weg drum herumführen wird haha)

Alles was du erlebst und erlebt hast trägt dazu bei, wer du als Musiker*in bist und sein wirst. Es prägt deinen Ausdruck mit und ohne Gitarre und vor allem die Art und Weise wie du lernst.

Wir schauen uns also selbstverständlich die Technik und Spielweisen an, aber genauso wichtig schauen wir uns an, was vom Mindset und der persönlichen Entwicklung mitschwingt bei der musikalischen Entwicklung. Da passiert sehr viel :)

Ich würde mich über dein Vertrauen freuen.

Methodisch lassen wir uns gemeinsam auf dich ein und schauen, wie du am liebsten lernst und was du brauchst um dranzubleiben und als Musiker*in (und damit verbunden als Mensch) zu wachsen.

Und falls du das noch gar nicht weißt, werden wir es ganz langsam Schritt für Schritt gemeinsam herausfinden! :)

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

Professor with a Higher Diploma in Piano from the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona and specializing in Spanish music from the Frank Marshall Academy (founded by Enrique Granados).

My curriculum is comprehensive and progressive. My teaching method focuses primarily on good sight-reading, combined with refined piano technique.

I also address learning difficulties such as postural problems, tension, and faulty touch.

My piano technique is based on the Enrique Granados school and his specific touch-based method, emphasizing sound and proper pedal use.

We will work on three basic sections: technique exercises, studies, and works from all styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, etc.).

We will also cover music theory (theory + daily exercises from the ABSRM method), solfège, choral singing, written ear training, score analysis, and concert listening exercises.

In addition to my in-person lessons, my online classes feature high-quality audio and video specifically designed for musicians: via the Zoom video call app (with settings that typically offer better sound for piano), and using OBS production software so you can clearly see the keyboard and hands from different angles.
Sound is captured with Behringer stereo microphones (piano) and a separate microphone for vocals, and multiple screens are used to combine sheet music, explanation, and real-time demonstration.

The goal is to make the online lesson as close as possible to an in-person class.

I have 30 years of experience as a teacher. Lessons are personalized to each student's needs, for all levels and ages (children and adults).
