Violin lessons for all Fr / Ang (solfeggio included).
As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship. As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years. Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument! I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. My classes can also take the status of personal work support; in this case, students can obviously bring me their scores worked with their main teacher, or those they play in chamber music / orchestra. In short: The violin is an art, it learns yes, but we play! :)

Piano/Music lessons for all levels - young graduate of the Geneva Conservatory of Music
Courses in English, French, Italian (mother tongues) - German (European level B2) Being a graduate of the Geneva Conservatory of Music, I offer with great enthusiasm, a very good methodology and a huge desire to transmit my passion, Piano and Solfege lessons at all levels. After having completed 12 years of Piano and Solfege studies, as well as Musical Training and Sight Reading courses, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to beginners and advanced players with the same passion that my teachers used ( namely, Sodi Braide who studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) in Paris and Stéphanie Aubert) to bring me to my current level - great concerts and competitions with 1st prize at the CMG. Being 19 years old, and studying mechanical engineering at EPFL, I can more easily and personally adapt the lessons in a way that is both fun and rigorous, so as to captivate young beginners. All the same, my background allows me to broaden and deepen the pianistic knowledge of experienced pianists. Looking forward to sharing my passion with you!

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (…). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. PLACES : - Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Manuel
Private lessons of Flamenco Guitar in Geneva and in Valais.
We work the techniques, rhythmic styles and harmony typical of flamenco. Once the pupil has acquired a certain mastery of the instrument, he can learn to accompany song and dance in order to complete his learning; let's say that the accompaniment of song and dance is what will allow the student to live a real experience of flamenco and thus feed on the ingredients necessary to learn and understand all the richness and complexity of this art. The accompaniment of the song: At first, we will study rhythmic formulas on precise chords, then in a second time, we will play these formulas with the singer (recorded on audio tracks). In order to make learning more lively, the student will be able to accompany the teacher who will sing certain styles and will be able to participate in monthly workshops to accompany song and dance with a singer, a dancer and other students. The student can also film during the lesson to be able to work at home more efficiently.

Judith
- Particular course of violin and musical theory -
Pedagogy: Through the teaching of the violin, I wish above all to transmit a passion for music and a pleasure to play that have been alive for a long time. For this, the learning of a technique promoting physical relaxation seems to me essential. I also have the skills to teach the basics (and more if affinity) of a musical training allowing the student to decipher and understand a score, to improvise and if he wants to learn the basics of composition. Finally I want to adapt to all profiles. Young and old, beginner, amateur adult or music school student looking for support, all are welcome. Background: Student violin at the University of Music of Geneva, I obtained in 2016 my diploma of music studies at the Conservatory of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. My curiosity and my interest for music in general also pushed me to follow trainings in musical writing, analysis and conducting in several conservatories in the Paris region. In 2018 I had the chance to make a replacement at the Regional Conservatory of Creteil which allowed me to complete (with private lessons for adults) my experience teaching violin.
