My teaching is based on British communicative methods. My classes are well structured and lead you from simple to a higher level. Your practical needs are the points of our plan to progress. We define your initial position, then you tell me what level you want to achieve and I offer you the way to do it and the length of time it can take. I use Oxford and Cambridge University books, YouTube authentic English language videos, film fragments, song lyrics to make your lessons interesting. We check your progress by regular testing. You speak 90% of the class time, while 10% goes to listening and reading comprehension. Learning by doing is my main rule. You can choose to study with or without homework.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

I teach Luxembourgish in general, I provide adequate training to anyone wishing to acquire Luxembourgish nationality. All people have passed the exam in the last 10 years except one.
I also offer more specific training to people working in a hospital environment.
I have written many documents on this subject myself (the human body, bones, internal organs, being able to understand, to help and respond to the patient).
This will be a 65 (German-speaking knowledge) or 75-hour course in order to acquire level B 2.2.
