-I have been teaching for the past six years, during which I have taught many different year groups. In my previous school, I was a Spanish and Catalan teacher.

-I have a Degree in Primary Education. In my final year in college, my curriculum specialization was English as Foreign Language.

-Ever since I started teaching at elementary school level, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in technology and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students.

-My most important priority is for children to feel happy, confident, and valued at all times in school and for them to be excited to attend every day.

-I aim to educate the children in my class to become life-long learners, where each child experiences success at their own level and pace.

My name is Irene. I come from Guadalajara, a town close to Madrid, but live in beautiful Barcelona.

I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics.
I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable and designed for your learning preferences. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money.

I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. It is also essential that what we do and talk about in class makes sense and is relevant for you. It is your goal and personal style of learning what will define our classes.

I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in the student′ s mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning with affordable exercises adapted to your level.

I love teaching and learning new languages because they bring us closer.

I am a Spanish native speaker, from Colombia. I have a bachelor in foreign language teaching and Master in Spanish Literature. I have written from articles. poetry to children ́s book. I am from Colombia but I lived in Spain for 3 years plus I have been living in other Latin American countries like Argentina Chile, Panama and Mexico. My goal is to transfer to my students all this cultural background that I have by teaching Spanish through different activities

My classes' objective is to learn through conversation and help you to pronounce the words in the most neutral way and learn how to conjugate verbs to avoid making the usual mistakes, which will make you feel more comfortable and easy to be understood.

I am Claudia and for almost 10 years I have dedicated myself to learning and teaching languages traveling through Europe. In addition to being a language coach, I am a trainer of intercultural and cross-cultural communication

Thanks to my travels and my professional experience, I have understood that learning a language means first of all understanding its contexts of use and the society around it. For this reason, I use cultural content as stimuli to work on the linguistic and communicative skills of my students. In fact, my students become consumers of culture, music, current affairs, cinema, series, shorts and everything that can help them experience the realities of different languages.

I speak five languages, two of which I have learned on a self-taught basis. Also, with a BA in Languages and a MA in Linguistics, I am a specialist in language, mental management and planning. I consider learning a language as a project, because it will always be connected to another larger / wider project. Maybe to move to another country or prepare for a job promotion ...

My students are students, individuals, company employees and expatriates who need to develop a methodology to learn languages effectively.

The services I offer are different / diverse: individual or group coaching, training for companies, preparation of talks and meetings, fluency training, and other linguistic services such as proofreading and writing in Italian, French and English.
