Welcome to the music theory course for beginners, intermediate and advanced! You'll learn the basics of reading notes, rhythms, and intervals, as well as advanced topics like scales and chords. My interactive lessons will help you develop your musical ear and your theoretical understanding, all in a friendly atmosphere and respecting the student's needs!

Learn the basics of how to play the guitar in a fun and structured way! Whether you're a complete beginner or an intermediate player, I offer step-by-step lessons tailored to your level. For beginners, you’ll learn how to tune your guitar, play essential chords, practice plucking, read tablature, and play your first songs. For more experienced players, we’ll dive into learning your favorite songs using advanced strumming patterns, plucking techniques, and even fingerstyle. These lessons are designed to build your confidence and skills while keeping the learning process fun and musical. I’m a student at KU Leuven Brussels and a member of the school band. I’ve been playing guitar for 7 years, and I’d love to share my passion and experience with you through teaching.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. Note : - Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase. - As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy. - Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. THE TEACHER : Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, with careful pedagogy and methodology as the watchwords. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). As a professional pianist with a passion for teaching, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now, at conservatories, music schools, and private lessons. I hold a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory and a master's degree in teaching from the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur. I adapt to each student's profile so that they can flourish musically!

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! During the course, theory and analysis of works are covered, then I offer exercises to carry out at home with guaranteed weekly follow-up. 🎯 Perfect for beginners or those who want to deepen their harmonic/rhythmic knowledge. No need for knowledge of music theory!

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children. With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake. Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis. An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History. My rates are 29/hour at my home (Schaerbeek), 35 if I travel.

Posture and comfort with the instrument are the foundation for playing the guitar. I often make the connection with other musical instruments such as percussion, wind instruments and singing. Separating and understanding the roles of the two hands is another important step in the course. One hand plays the rhythm and the other plays the notes on the fretboard. There are many exercises to develop the knowledge and skills of both hands.

Graduated with a Master's degree in clarinet from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, a Didactic Master's degree in clarinet and a didactic master's degree in musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, I propose to give you lessons at all levels of clarinet and/or musical training. I also offer piano lessons to beginner students. I am available every day and move to your home at your convenience. Depending on the level and age of the students, the duration of my classes vary between 30 minutes, 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

I work in detail. I pay particular attention to the student's position so that they don't have any muscle problems. I encourage students to play whatever they like if the difficulty of the piece matches the student's level. I play pieces for students to introduce them to the classical guitar repertoire.
