About Me
The saxophone has always been a very important part of my life. I have been playing it for twelve years in various wind orchestras and chamber ensembles (saxophone duet, trio, quartet, quintet, sextet, septet and octet). I am very proud of my achievements over the years.
I like to play the saxophone as it offers a range of different sound options. It can play jazz, modern or classical music. It also helps motivate myself to do more and more, even when I am completely exhausted.
Studying abroad is considered something very demanding. It definitely is, but I’ve also gained so much life and professional experience with it that I don’t regret it. I could not have gained this experience in any other way.
Going to study abroad was a very big step in my life. For the first time, I was truly alone, without help. It was hard at first, but I was discovering new things day by day. I soon got used to it, and started using time more efficiently.
Teaching is for me something really personal. Every student is different and I try to adjust my teaching accordingly. My goal is to help the student discover their abilities on saxophone and to motivate them to become the best version of themselves.
All in all I am open to all the different music styles and I think we should welcome new ideas.

Education
I started my music education at the music school in Ljubljana, under the guidance of Lev Pupis. There I finished eight years in the classes of saxophone and music theory.
After that I decided to continue at the Conservatory for music and ballet in Ljubljana. My mentors were Matjaž Drevenšek and Jan Gričar. After four years of high school studies I recieved a high school diploma.
I was successful in the entrance exam for the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, where I have obtained a bachelros degree.
Now I am pursuing a masters degree at the same institution.
