I specialize in tutoring Spanish for school, adults and preparing for exams.
My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson.
Every lesson will be tailored to the specific needs of each student.
I have a degree in Spanish and French linguistics as well as literature and translation and have also studied in English.
I have 14 years experience in teaching languages.

Avec des méthodes simples et efficaces, je propose des cours d'espagnol tout à fait personnalisés qui s'adressent à toute catégorie de personnes (debutants or advancers).
I propose to use the methods of apprenticeship training to solve the difficulties and compression of the difficulties.

Do you need to improve your English so that you can participate fluently and confidently in business meetings, presentations, webinars, telephone conversations or interviews? You may be aiming for a job in the EU institutions or other organisations in Brussels. Or you could be working in an international company or studying for a Masters or another qualification...

I have been a qualified, professional English teacher and translator for more than 20 years. My courses enable learners to actively produce the language, repeat useful expressions until they are habitual and correct mistakes until they are removed. Although I am happy to explain and practice grammatical issues, the focus is on effective, correct and appropriate communication by using visual material, videos, interesting topics for discussion and challenging quizzes. As I have advanced knowledge of French, German and Czech, I can particularly appreciate and correct the issues speakers of these languages have in English, but this is also the case for Dutch speakers.

There is also the possibility of specialist English courses in the areas linked to my experience (see below): how the EU works; environmental, energy, regional or agricultural policies; economics.

- Director of a regional representation to the EU and member of a management team
- Certificate in TESOL with business
- BA(Honours) in Modern Languages & Modern History, Oxford University
- Post-graduate in Economics, London University
