I am an academic professor. I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, a little English and a little Turkish. I teach Spanish, language and communication, with an effective pedagogy so that everyone can speak fluently avoiding grammatical gaps. You always wanted to learn Spanish and have decided that the time might be just now? I can help you! Some of my students were also in the same place as you. My name is Irene García Núñez. I come from Guadalajara, a town close to Madrid, but live in beautiful Barcelona. I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 10 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics. I have a vast experience with very different students, their needs and the adequate resources for them. I know how to adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. I like learning about my students′ personal interests so we can use them in the learning process. This way what we do and talk about makes sense and is relevant for them. I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in the student′ s mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning with affordable exercises adapted to your level. I follow mainly a communicative approach though the goal pursued by the student is what defines the final design of the class. I love teaching and learning new languages because it brings us closer.

HOLA!!! Aprendamos Español juntos!! I am a Spanish native speaker, from Colombia. I have a bachelor in foreign language teaching and Master in Spanish Literature. I have written from articles. poetry to children´s book. I am from Colombia but I lived in Spain for 3 years plus I have been living in other Latin American countries like Argentina Chile, Panama and Mexico. My goal is to transfer to my students all this cultural background that I have by teaching Spanish through different activities My classes' objective is to learn through conversation and help you to pronounce the words in the most neutral way and learn how to conjugate verbs to avoid making the usual mistakes, which will make you feel more comfortable and easy to be understood. Do you want to speak Spanish fast!! We can meet or virtual classes and we can talk about interesting topics like culture, trips or politics! We can also meet in person and do activities like Cooking, Dancing, Karaoke or Fun board games.

My classes would be decided for both sides, the student tells me what he or she wants and we focus on it. Normally I like to make the classes a bit dynamic. For example, at the beginning of the class we could start with some grammar, and then practise it with a game, exercises, videos, ...After that, some reading, and finish with activities of speaking. But like I said, we can decide together, and if you prefer to be longer with the speaking is also fine, just tell me your preferences. I use a digital book as a base that you can buy and then combine it with other tailored materials. And of course, I can recommend you books, movies, series, apps, and different ways to learn on your own. It can be a kind of homework to keep in touch with the Spanish along the week. Or I can also prepare exercises for the week after or ask you to make a writing and then I correct it and tell you how to improve from your mistakes. In high school, I was chosen to take part in the General Spanish Competition. At the time of my post-baccalaureate studies I decided to leave at the age of 18 to Madrid for two years. At that moment, I became totally bilingual in Spanish, I felt really Spanish and lost all my French accent, almost forgetting my French. I therefore hope through these courses to give you the desire I had to make my life in Spain knowing that you can be sure that I will never judge you since, like you, I had to learn Spanish and assimilated it over time.

I am a native teacher from Barcelona, with a degree in History and as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. I have been teaching private lessons for over 10 years, but I’ve also taught in the context of cultural associations and the French & Catalan national education.
