I hold a BA in Sciences of Education, a Ma in Educational Planning and Development and I have attended courses on Teaching Greek as a second/foreign language and Digital Technologies in Face to Face and Distance Learning. I' am very enthusiastic about teaching Greek and I offer well prepared Greek language courses, based on learner's needs and interests, in an engaging and positive learning environment. The course is focused on developing the learner's abilities on: a) Understanding oral and written speech b) Producing oral and written speech The learning process is based on: 1)Well-structured lesson plans, involving speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. 2) Study of various educational material. 3) Interactive and communicative teaching activities. 4) Use of Educational Technology Tools. 5) Practical conversation on real-life situations. 6) Follow-up exercises. The activities have an interdisciplinary approach, offering an insight to Greek culture (history, music, art, food, traditions, mythology etc.). English lesson : I am preparing this year for the competition to become an English literature teacher in high school. In this context, I offer English lessons at all levels: homework help, preparation for an exam, conversational help, desire to improve your written expression or to go abroad 🇬🇧🇺🇲. My teaching method: I base myself first on your needs and I try to personalize as much as possible according to the level you want to reach! My goal: for you to become independent in English! My favorite approach is cultural: becoming passionate about a culture is the best way for me to stay in touch with a language and to use it regularly. So I like to base myself on video, audio or text content as much as possible. Among my favorite tools: replaying cinema/theater scenes, reading texts aloud, improvising on everyday subjects... Typical sequence of a course: after a first course to situate your level and your desires/needs, we determine the specifics of the course and the main areas to work on (oral, written, comprehension, grammar, fluency, emphasis). All classes are different!
