Would you like to learn to play the violin? I am a professional violinist based in Amsterdam and I love sharing my passion for music with people of all ages. I am a professional violinist based in Amsterdam. I offer private lessons for beginners to advanced levels of violin playing. I have many years of experience teaching in English, in Dutch, in French and in German.
My teaching approach focuses on gaining a good technique on the violin and developing great musical skills while also having fun. I organise student concerts once or twice a year at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and in other venues in the city.
I love working with tools such as the Alexander Technique, yoga as well as body mindfulness.

I have been teaching in my private studio for more than ten years. In the last years, I have also been a violin teacher at Le Conservatoire in Vienna, in different schools in Graz Austria and at the Camp musical père Lindsay in Canada. In 2020 and 2021, I have been selected as an Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation of Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti, a training program for young professionals creating world-leading, innovative musicians and educators.
