Hi, I'm Caitlin, I was raised bilingually and grew up in Amsterdam. Half my family is from the Netherlands and the other half from South-Africa. Therefore I'm a native speaker in both Dutch and English. Let me help you prepare for your new job, your children with learning English for the first time or if you just feel like becoming a more fluent speaker of English! Let's look at your interests together and I will design our classes so that we discuss topics, articles and other items that are of interest to you! Besides teaching English I have a lot of experience in teaching private violin lessons to both children and adults. I'm a patient teacher that will take the time to walk you through all the steps!

Bonjour,

I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums. Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests! That's why I could take a more conventional approach to teaching but I prefer an interactive engaging type of class. We can start with basic daily life based conversations to delving into more detailed and specific contexts, to a level where any types of topics can be covered.
I would encourage students and myself to only converse in the language that is being taught. But I could still provide explanation and guidance in either Korean or English!
