Trusted teacher: Hey there =) Interested in learning piano? Or improving your songwriting or producing? Maybe you are a complete beginner, or maybe you already know a lot and you’d like to expand your skills with some guidance and accountability. I am happy to share what I know with anyone. All ages & skill levels are welcome! Lessons can include: Learning songs & how to practice effectively Understanding harmony and music theory Playing by ear and listening skills Scales, exercises, and proper technique Chord voicings & harmonic wizardry How to improvise and more =) I like to give my students the tools to teach themselves and I believe learning music can be fun and engaging, even when beginning. I'll ask, 'what do you want to be able to do with the piano?' And then I can help you make a plan for how to get there. I have a jazz background and I love to improvise. I have over 10 years of experience playing and performing music, specializing in jazz and improvised music. I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music specializing in jazz piano and composition. I have been teaching piano for over 8 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for 5 years. Location: I offer lessons from a home music studio at my apartment in Plänterwald, Berlin. I can also travel to your location for an extra charge as long as you're not too far away. Language: I generally speak and teach in English, though I can also speak some German to around B1 level. Available times: My teaching hours are between 9am and 7pm, every day of the week except for Sundays. Send me a message and we can organize a time together =)

This course is to further develop spoken English skills through communicating with native speakers, among others. Students at this level have some systematic knowledge of English grammar. I bought a course as a birthday present and he was super nice and professional, explaining as much as he could about music production. Despite coming late he still gave us the full time we booked for, even producing a first track! Would really recommend him!
