I am known to sing and dance around the classroom whilst being caring and calm to those that need a more settled, black and white approach. Key skills are developed in ways that are both traditional and contemporary. For example, learning the skills of addition through teacher led modelling and application before being reinforced through games. Children should have a say in their learning journey to benefit both their understanding and experience of a topic. Communication with parents/carers and children is at the heart of my ethos. I am passionate about working with children of all ages, ensuring that they make the progress which is perfect for their ability rather than the `age expected progress`.
