Here is how you will learn if you choose to take this Course: During each session: STEP 1: I ask you "appropriate" questions to what's most important to you in your life. STEP 2: You reply as good as you can. STEP 3: I correct your English where necessary, your pronunciation if needed, and help you say what you actually are trying to say (FYI: I have 18 years of experience in teaching English ). STEP 4: Together we create a script, a piece of text, for your next 1-minute English ListeningExercise. STEP 5: After the session I professionally record your tailor-made 1-minute English ListeningExercise. STEP 6: Your task is to listen to that ListeningExercise for 10 minutes every day with headphones. STEP 7: A week later (or less), you take your next session with me where you show me how well you can say your 1-minute English ListeningExercise from memory and we repeat the process. It doesn't matter if you have a beginner or mid-intermediate English level, if you follow these steps, then there is no need to focus on English grammar or sentence structure because that will come automatically to you. That's what I want for you: to acquire a natural English awareness that is focused and useful to your situation in your life, not mine, so that you can become the confident English speaker you intend to become and USE the English you've learnt on a daily basis. Trusted teacher: Did you always want to have a great voice? Or do you know you have one, and want to get better at using it? Or do you just want to be able to sing songs at home and enjoy yourself? What ever you are looking for, as long as you want to find enjoyment in singing, I'm the teacher for you. Genres: Pop, rock, jazz & blues, soul, singer/songwriter I've been teaching music for a decade now, and I'm still as in love with it as when I started. I love to see my students grow. Together we look for what inspires you, what supports you technically, and find your path in learning how to sing. We'll work on breathing, tone, style, and the mental game that comes with being a confident singer and regular practice. I focus on giving you a positive learning experience; I'm going to empower you by teaching you step by step, so you know what your process is and you can reproduce it yourself at home or at a gig. If you're interested, we can also work on songwriting and/or accompanying yourself on an instrument. You decide the tempo at which we work, you decide what and what style you want to work on, you decide whether you take classes of 30 or 60 minutes and how regularly you take them. You'll get exercises, sheet music and backing tracks to practice at home. You're allowed to record the class so you can remember everything and hear your progress. If you want to, we can even make a professional recording of you singing. Everything is possible, and everything we do will be in dialogue with each other. Wether you come every week, or every month, it's all up to you, as long as you put in the practice at home you'll make big leaps forward. !! It is possible to work with me on extended vocal techniques like growl & distortion !!

Romy was a very open and approachable individual (with an adorable doggy) that made sure that I was comfortable and took the time to elaborate on her way of doing things as well as focus on what you yourself would like to get out of it. It was a very fun atmosphere and I am looking forward to returning!

Cistinela is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher. She had material prepared for our first lesson but as I had a lot of specific questions, she provided detailed answers and we took it from there. Satisfied with our first class, I got what I wanted from it.
