I provide photocopies for working on technique and music theory. If the student wants to play a particular piece, I can make a suitable arrangement. I can also accompany the student on the keyboard if there is one at your home, playing with an accompanist is beneficial for the student to develop their listening, their mastery of tempo and accuracy. I have 12 years of experience playing the transverse flute and am currently a student in a preparatory course for higher education in transverse flute, musical training and writing at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Lyon. I had the pleasure of receiving personal lessons from Élodie while I was visiting Brussels from NYC. It was a gift to myself, a standup comedian, to practice using my voice for a different kind of self expression. During the pandemic, I suffered a lot of sadness, like many people, and I could not bring myself to tell jokes. Élodie helped me to sing songs and taught me techniques that helped to heal my heart, and my throat Chakra. I am eternally grateful for her teaching style, and I even had the honor of dueting with her. Élodie is such an amazing instructor, with a beautiful voice, and an even warmer spirit. I felt comfortable, encouraged, and increasingly confident in my abilities the more I worked with her. And did i mention how much FUN it was?! No matter your starting level, I highly recommend Élodie, and hope to work with her again sometime :)

Vero is fantastic. I had more than 10 teachers of French over the years and she is by far the best. She is patient and she corrects my mistakes gently. In addition, she writes down her corrections in a Google Doc file and I get to study my mistakes after our lessons. This is something no other French teacher has done before. It is important to learn from the mistakes so that I do not repeat them again. On top of all, she has a great set of online exercises that I do to advance my French. Florie is a delight to talk to! I am taking a French conversation class with her at the moment--I am a level B1-B2. She is sincere, thoughtful, funny and "sympa", and above all, she is great at conversation. She can adapt to your personal interests and will swerve the conversation in a way that allows you to talk as much as you can without tiring you. When you run out of things to say, she'll come up with topics and questions to keep the conversation going. Definitely recommend her!
