I have helped students prepare for French exams like the DELF, as well as those who are planning to move to a French-speaking country and need real-life language skills. I understand the challenges of learning a language, having learned two languages myself: English and Portuguese, and plan to learn more. I have faced difficulties, hit walls, and overcome them, and I believe that my experience as a language learner makes me a well-rounded teacher. However, I do not claim to know everything about teaching, as I am constantly learning. I tailor my teaching method to best suit the needs of my students. I use interactive resources such as images, videos, and texts to help my students learn effectively. For beginners, I recommend trying out the Pimsleur method, which is a 30-minute audio lesson based on gradual interval recall. This method reviews learned vocabulary at increasingly longer intervals and has been used by the CIA. If you are interested, we can discuss how to use this method together. I offer French lessons remotely through Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams or at the students place. Our 7 year old son started much better with Verónica than with previous swimming instructors. Verónica made him highly focused for one hour but also served a good dose of amusement! She patiently corrected his technique, and well balanced the long 60 minutes pushing to his limits but without over-stressing. Full hope that our son catches up soon on the progress lost during last two years. He is highly motivated and looking forward to the next session. Adding to that, Verónica seems to be a pleasant, interesting, flexible and reliable person. I would recommend everybody to book an hour with her!

In my head (only there just there) I already know a lot of Korean words. But when I try to talk I can't make 1 sentence out of it. That's why I wanted private lesson. What I really like about Severine is that she is very patient, she keeps up with my pace. Once I understand the material I'd like to move on, Palli Palli! She is a good explainer and because of that I'm feeling more and more confidence to talk (and write) in Korean. I already can Write my name in the sand, but soon I will be able to... Talk to myself for hours.. ..Say things that You WILL understand ;)
