Drum Lessons I began teaching drums 13 years ago and developed a passion for helping and educating students. I have taught many grade exams with a 100% pass rate whilst accomplishing Grade 8 Trinity/Guildhall syllabus Drum Kit and Grade 5 marching Snare Drum myself. I tailor my lessons to each individual student’s needs. This could be picking up the drumsticks for the first time to honing the bass drum technique. I teach sight reading, drum music theory, rudiments, songs and how to break them down, various techniques and fundamentals of playing drums. I can also give advice on drum kit setup and equipment, ergonomics, good practice routine and listening to music. Many of my students have found learning grades a useful exercise to map their progression. I teach Trinity syllabus grade exams (although other syllabus are available if students prefer) as they are well recognized and extremely challenging, further building students' abilities.
