This lesson aims to provide students with a concrete understanding of different kinds of questions used in English and their purpose. Through the axis of the 5 W ́s (Who, What, When, Why, Where) the course unpack and defines concepts such as leading, probing, and rhetorical questions, and more, to correctly ask questions with the purpose and based on the situation. Students will engage in roleplaying different scenarios where these questions may be useful (at an interview, at work, at school or during travels) to practice what questions to ask when and how it may be best to ask them. This will be complimented by reviewing cultural dimensions of English to better understand the approach as well as method.
English, like most languages can be broken down to a set of common rules that guide the way we communicate and interact.
