Hey, My name is Jasper and I am a guitar teacher looking for new students. For me it is important that you can develop your guitar skills in a motivational private lesson where the focus is on your interests. During the lessons we can cover the genres rock, pop, funk, jazz, blues and everything in between. The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. Knowledge of solfège is not required. I studied at the conservatory in Rotterdam and Ghent and have been active as a professional musician for several years. I have 12 years of experience as a guitar teacher. My name is Andre. I'm a professional musician with more than 10 years in the field. Despite Jazz being the main focus of my study and practice I've learned to love all genres and absorb each unique values and strengths. Having them integrated in the musical projects I've created or participated on. Projects which revolve around Jazz, Pop, Rock, Psychedelic, Electronic and Reggae. Throughout my professional career I've worked with music schools and private students (+200). During this years I've encountered a plethora of different kinds of students, all levels ranging from kids to seniors and even a good quantity of autistic or down syndrome students, which always made me more and more interested in the art of teaching and helping people grow, by balancing challenge and empathy. My lessons are characterized by a practical approach combined with a theoretical component, that always caters to the student's interests, stimulating their musical taste and creativity. I am Jess, a musician and producer from Ghent, graduated as a bachelor in music at PXL Hasselt. In the meantime I have been teaching guitar for 10 years at music studios and in the form of private lessons at home. Besides teaching I have my own project called Monagi and I write/produce for bands like Tout Va Bien and Patches. I also play guitar at TheShadow Machine. Ik ben geen professional, daarom kan je als vergevorderde gitarist misschien beter bij iemand anders terecht. Ik kan je ook leren noten lezen en de basis muziektheorie aanleren indien je dat wenst. English: As a classical guitarist, I can play many genres, only in jazz, I don't have any experience. For anything else, you can come to me. I am not a professional, therefore if you are already quite experienced in the guitar I think another teacher might be better suited. I can also teach you how to read music and touch upon basic music theory if you want.
