Trusted teacher: As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way. The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson. For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry! I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute. If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression. Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance. Feel free to contact me to discover this magnificent instrument! Trusted teacher: Music theory is the basis of music, whatever the instrument, a good knowledge of the theory and practice of music is an asset that will help you progress in learning your instrument. A good knowledge of music theory will also help you to read "sight" or decipher your scores. With good training and several tips, I will give you the keys to performing these moments, sometimes considered "painful" by many. students, with ease! I also offer my help with remedial lessons for children or adults having problems in group music theory lessons at the academy or other private schools. Group lessons offer little opportunity to speak one-on-one with a student to overcome certain difficulties; a regular or occasional individual lesson can remedy these problems. I finished my entire cycle of music theory at the academy, as well as 4 additional years of advanced music theory at the Lemmensinstituut during my musical humanities, I then obtained my "solfege prize" in my first year of Bachelor at the Brussels Conservatory . I have also given a lot of instrumental, theoretical and group lessons, in these, certain aspects of theory and music theory come up regularly with my students, they always find these moments very enriching. I adapt to the student's materials and books if necessary but I can also bring my own exercises and books. I offer these lessons individually or semi-collectively (max. 3 students), you choose the duration that suits you best: 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your desires and your concentration. In addition, I also offer musical awakening lessons for the little ones from 3 years old. Music is a great asset for the development of a child, I acquired a great experience during three years where I taught musical awakening in different schools in Waterloo (the communal school of Chenois, Mont Saint Jean) . The groups were made up of 8 to 10 kindergarten children. In these classes, I always proceed in the same way for the structure of the class, I start with a little warm-up where the children become aware of their bodies and the environment, I then continue with 2-3 exercises working on an aspect of music. like the rhythm, the voice, the melody, the instruments, ... and I always end up with a little game with percussion instruments or a musical story. As for music theory, I offer these courses in individual or semi-collective ways (max. 3 students). *How about a little activity for siblings?* Classes can last 15 or 30 minutes depending on the number of children and their ages.

Trusted teacher: In the singing lesson we start with learning basic theory about mindset, breathing, breath support,... For students with some experience in singing we go more into different types of singing, for example head voice, mixed voice, emotions while singing, microphone techniques,... Do you want specific tips for e.g. performances, music choices,...? This is certainly possible! I will look with you at what your needs are and what you would like to learn. We're not just going to look at the voice but also at 'How do I stand on stage?' or 'How do I reduce stress?' So I'm also going to look at the mental and emotional aspects. I will help you further based on all my musical baggage that I am currently expanding myself! I am super excited to get started with you and further develop our singing voice together. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- In the singing class we start by teaching basic theory about mindset, breathing, breath support,.... Asja is really a good teacher to me, since I had 10 lessons from her before and my level growing from 3 to 4 during the lessons. Now I bought 10 lessons from her again. I planed to be her student in my whole piano studying life, because she is very good at teaching piano. Not only good at teaching me about the piano skills, melodious, and to be patience, but also good at correct my mistakes and explain how to improved it until I totally got her point. Especially some mistakes I don’t how to express those problems, but I feel something wrong. Share some useful skills with me to improve my skills gradually. Always have a happy lesson from her, and feel so friendly with her 😊 Its my luck to have such a good teacher 😃
