Chemistry and biology course dedicated to primary, middle and high school students (+ Entrance exam in medicine and dentistry). I approach the subject according to the level of the student. The first class will be devoted to see the level of the student (test, oral questions) and the difficulties he encounters. Then we proceed with a system of session of two parts: a theoretical part then a session of exercises. The student will have tests from time to time to make sure he understands the materials.

Studying as a civil engineer at ulb, I even needed a home-based tutor for applied science courses before finding in them a real passion that never left me. In my turn I would like to help you to effectively appreciate and love math or to encase chemistry and even physics

I am a student currently in 2nd Master in Civil Engineering in Louvain-la-Neuve. I propose to give courses in mathematics, chemistry and physics at the primary, secondary and university levels. My school curriculum allows me to have an overview of the subject to teach. I can either give lessons at my kot or at my house, or move to your home!

Graduated in Chemistry at the Free University of Brussels, I offer teaching accessible to all and help in preparing questions or exams. (or simple upgrade) Sciences are often hard to assimilate because of their sometimes abstract nature or because of the enormous amount of information to remember. My goal is to help the student progress at their own pace through a real understanding of the material. What's the point of remembering if you don't understand. I check whether the material has been assimilated from one lesson to the next and I can provide additional exercises if necessary.

Hello dear parents! Imagine if someone could make math fun. At all levels, make it interesting to learn and always work on their fundamentals. No matter how much more they learn, the aim with my classes is to make kids smart overall and not just math. I do this by giving them examples in languages they understand, using examples they understand. For example, I can explain linear equations with making cookies or using football. I explained graphical equations using body building and gym To illustrate. I explain percentages using race car statistics and drag races. Or speaking of trigonometry using fortnite and Minecraft!! I try to make sure your kids are less dependent on their calculators and use their brains instead. The focus is on getting them to be smart outside of math, in life too! With the ability to have a one on one time with your kid, I patiently explain math and other subjects to them in a way they understand. Kids learn and most importantly stop fearing math when they see it's easy! Trust me, kids are super smart these days. They don't need a tutor, they really need a cheer leader! I'm happy to be that cheer leader for them!

I've been working with a variety of students, ages 7 to 18, for the past three years. I teach Math, Chemistry, Biology, and English. I help students with their homework and get them ready for big exams. I have experience supporting IB students with their courses, besides with the Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs), offering guidance on research planning, scientific writing, and alignment with IB assessment criteria. I love teaching, and it makes me happy to help students overcome their academic challenges and see their progress over time.

Holder of an engineering degree in chemistry from the ENSCR (national school of chemistry of Rennes) then a doctorate in physico-chemistry from the CNRS in collaboration with Solvay, I am now a researcher in chemistry in the chemical industry. Very pedagogue (I have been giving lessons for 10 years now), I can help with homework, preparation for tests or exams but also for writing dissertations. I will teach the student to be meticulous, organized, he will of course be able to ask all the questions that come to mind. My classes are aimed at all levels from primary to secondary, as well as specific training involving chemistry, math and physics.

Hello, My name is Maximilien, I am 23 years old and I am currently a Master 2 student at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Energy Engineering in English. After completing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at UCLouvain (physics-chemistry and mechanics option), I decided to continue my studies at the neighboring university. The subjects I teach are mathematics, chemistry and physics. Having also obtained my humanities diploma at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, I can give lessons in French, Dutch or English. I like to actively involve my students in the course so that they understand the material well but above all that they find interest in it. I start from the principle that it is difficult to succeed in a subject without appreciating it a minimum and above all finding what it really serves us for! In general, I like to start by reviewing the latest questions/exams to assess the level and needs of the student. Then we go through the theory necessary to carry out the exercises and finally finish with exercise sessions together. I am a dynamic and attentive person who quickly understands students (I was in their shoes not so long ago), which allows me to create a relationship of trust, so that the student feels comfortable and asks ALL the questions he has, and does not hesitate to say when things are not going well.

My methodology consists in carrying out a previous study of the subject that you want to learn or review. After that: - We focus little by little on the parts to be treated, in a way adapted to yourself, (depending on your previous knowledge and your abilities). - We will combine some brief theoretical advice with the realization of exercises, so that you can acquire an understanding of the subject and observe how you are capable of performing them for yourself when I show you the correct way. Thus getting confidence in yourself! It does not matter that you do not know anything, I learned mathematics and physics myself and got my engineering degree diploma!

Are you having difficulty understanding your biology course? of chemistry? mathematics? Or is your class very messy? I personalize my lessons to the needs of each student, since each has their own way of learning. I know how to adapt to different learning systems, whether they are more of memorizing theoretical courses, rather than applying theory and logic in exercises. This flexibility allowed me to obtain a Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology - Biochemistry at ULB and my License / Bac in General Biology in France.

Serious, attentive and dynamic, I have been accompanying and supporting several dozen secondary and higher education students for more than 8 years in their academic success and in passing the Polytech and Medicine entrance exams. . My goal is to make my students independent in their study and to provide them with a methodology that will be useful to them throughout their schooling. Typically a course is done in two stages: 1) A first passage on the theory in order to identify the students' difficulties and the material to study for future exercises. Then deconstruct the concepts that pose problems into several concepts that are accessible to the student. Once I have explained a concept, I do not hesitate to ask the student to explain again in their own words what they have understood, in order to make the learning active. 2) We move on to the exercises to do, typically I let the student think about the exercise for 2-3 minutes before helping them solve it. Again, as we move from one stage to the next, I always ask the question "why?" so that the student can explain to me what he understood. So I check that he or she has understood the concepts used to move forward and learning then happens naturally.
