Secondary Accounting & BA1 — journal entries, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, depreciationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer accounting courses for secondary school students, particularly in vocational training, as well as for first-year bachelor's students at university or college. The objective is to help the pupil or student understand accounting logic, master important entries and know how to solve exercises in a structured way, whether for a quiz, an exam, a qualification or a refresher course. I primarily support pupils and students who wish to review the basics, better understand accounting mechanisms and practice on typical exercises. Subjects covered according to your program: • Basics of accounting: debit/credit, asset and liability accounts, expenses and revenues, chart of accounts, account logic, supporting documents and reading statements. • Journal and accounting entries: recording of current operations, purchases, sales, payments, receipts, VAT, customer and supplier accounts, entries with or without discount. • VAT and commercial transactions: VAT to be recovered, VAT to be paid, purchase invoices, sales invoices, credit notes, trade discounts, rebates, incidental expenses and calculations related to commercial transactions. • Depreciation: straight-line depreciation, declining balance depreciation, depreciation schedules, depreciation charges, net book value and year-end entries. • Provisions and adjustments: provisions, deferred charges, accrued income, charges to be allocated, deferred income, inventory entries and year-end adjustments. • Balance sheet and income statement: construction of the balance sheet, assets/liabilities, equity, debts, expenses, revenues, profit or loss for the year, link between the income statement and the balance sheet. • Basic financial analysis: working capital, working capital requirement (WCR), net cash, simple ratios, reading and interpretation of financial statements. • Cash flow: operating cash flow, investment cash flow, financing cash flow, distinction between accounting profit and cash flow. • Exam/qualification preparation: Typical exercises, past quizzes, exams, case studies, problem-solving methods, guided correction and identification of common errors. I can also help with economics depending on the level and program, particularly in microeconomics and macroeconomics: supply and demand, elasticities, costs, competition, market, growth, inflation, economic policy and basic models. Method of working : 1. We identify the chapters that pose a problem; 2. I will re-explain the accounting logic with simple examples; 3. We redo the exercises step by step; 4. I show how to recognize the type of writing or calculation required; 5. We construct a clear method so that the student can do it on their own. I do not limit myself to giving a correction: I explain the reasoning behind each writing and each calculation so that the subject becomes more logical and less mechanical. I have been giving private lessons for over 7 years in mathematics, statistics, economics, and accounting. I also have a degree from Solvay/ULB and professional experience in finance and business controlling at Deloitte, which allows me to explain accounting with an approach that is academic, university-level, and practical. Courses available in French or English, online or in person in Brussels or the surrounding area.

ONLINE COURSE IN STATISTICS AND MATHEMATICAL MODELING BY AN APPLIED MATHEMATICS ENGINEERTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a qualified and passionate private mathematics tutor, a graduate of Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD). My academic background led me to study mathematics, physics, and computer science during my first two years of university, before specializing with a bachelor's and master's degree in biomathematics. This training allowed me to deepen my skills in applied sciences and develop advanced expertise in the analysis of complex concepts. For over ten years, I have been tutoring students, an experience that began within my family circle and has been enriched over time by pedagogical training adapted to digital environments. Today, I offer fully personalized online courses, always starting with a thorough assessment of each student's skills to precisely identify their strengths and weaknesses. This analysis allows me to design a customized remediation program that effectively targets their specific needs. I find great motivation in working with students eager to succeed. Their commitment and determination to progress stimulate my involvement and reinforce my professionalism. Online, I ensure a serious and structured learning environment, where the focus is strictly on the pedagogical aspect. My thorough understanding of the mathematics curriculum, combined with my expertise in biomathematics, allows me to simplify complex concepts and make science learning accessible to everyone. My goal is to help each student solidify their foundational knowledge, regain confidence, and become independent in their studies. I therefore offer my private lessons online, providing geographical flexibility and personalized support to guide each student towards success.

Accounting, Finance & Economics – FH, University & Exam SupportTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Accounting, Finance & Economics – FH, University & Exam SupportTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I provide individual tutoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics and related quantitative business subjects for students at school, vocational, Fachhochschule and university level. My academic background is in Business Information Systems at a Swiss University of Applied Sciences. This combines business, economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, data and analytical problem-solving. I have several years of teaching experience and have supported students preparing for school examinations, vocational qualifications, Fachhochschule modules and university exams. Accounting topics can include: - Financial Accounting - Bookkeeping - Debit and credit - Journal entries - Balance sheet - Income statement - Opening and closing entries - Accruals - Depreciation - Inventory - VAT - Swiss accounting exercises - Cost Accounting - Management Accounting - BAB - Cost allocation - Contribution Margin - Break-even analysis - Cash Flow Statement - Financial ratios Finance topics can include: - Simple interest - Compound interest - Present value - Future value - Annuities - Financial Mathematics - Investment calculations - NPV - Investment appraisal - Bonds - Shares - Risk and return - CAPM - WACC - Corporate Finance - Financial ratios - Quantitative finance exercises Economics topics can include: - Microeconomics - Supply and demand - Elasticity - Market equilibrium - Consumer theory - Producer theory - Costs - Revenue - Profit - Market structures - Perfect competition - Monopoly - Macroeconomic fundamentals - Business Economics - Quantitative Economics Related quantitative subjects can include: - Business Statistics - Probability - Quantitative Methods - Regression - Data interpretation - Financial calculations - Applied Mathematics for business students My teaching approach is based on understanding the logic behind each calculation. For quantitative questions, we normally use a clear structure: - What is given? - What needs to be found? - Which formula or accounting principle applies? - Why does it apply? - How is the result calculated? - What does the final number actually mean? This is particularly useful in Accounting and Finance. Students sometimes learn one example mechanically and then become confused when the wording or numbers change in an examination. I therefore use different question styles so that students learn to recognise the underlying principle. Lessons can be used for: - Regular semester support - Homework and exercises - Closing knowledge gaps - Exam preparation - Intensive revision - FH examinations - University examinations - Repeating previously failed modules - Improving calculation speed and accuracy I explain concepts in a structured and practical way and adapt the level of detail to the individual student. The aim is to make Accounting, Finance and Economics feel logical, organised and manageable rather than like complicated collections of formulas and rules.
