I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

This 20-hour course (10 x 2 hours) offers both an introduction to French and European political history (the concept of the rule of law, revolutions, representative system), and a detailed introduction to the 5th Republic (history, President, National Assembly, Constitutional Council, decentralized and deconcentrated administrative organization of the territory, independent administrative authorities, etc.). In the last hour, a presentation of the political landscape party by party if there is time left. This course is aimed at French-speaking students of political science, communication and journalism, or anyone wishing to better understand the French institutional system.
