I help high-school and university students understand mathematics and physics instead of memorizing steps. I have a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics / dynamics and control) and I work as a mechatronic system engineer. That background is useful: I constantly use calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and mechanics at work, so I can show why a method exists, not only how to apply it. Typical students • High school: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, physics, exam preparation • University: calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, mechanics-related physics • Adults returning to study or catching up after a weak semester How a lesson works 1. We start from your exam sheet, homework, or the chapter that is blocking you. 2. I rebuild the core idea with diagrams and simple examples until it is solid. 3. We practice exam-style questions and I show the shortcuts markers reward. 4. After the session you receive the notes in Word or OneNote, so you can revise without guessing what we covered. Online lessons use Google Meet plus OneNote, so we write on the same page. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes. I teach in English, and if required Italian, and I adapt the pace to beginner, intermediate or advanced level. If you have a test in two weeks, send the syllabus or a past paper before the first lesson. We will make a short plan and start immediately.

Cello lessons (possibly combined with cello rental) are offered; I teach in Dutch and English to both children and adults. Lessons are offered at my home in Eindhoven, and in the surrounding area, lessons can also be delivered to the student's home, with a reasonable travel allowance. Home lessons are primarily intended for children and people with limited mobility (at an additional cost/car expenses). You can also rent a cello from me to see if the instrument suits you. English: As a teacher, I always work from the needs and level of the student. I believe learning music should be fun as well as practical, so I combine technique with direct application in songs and playing with other instruments. My method focuses on gradually building control and confidence behind the drum kit. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up and technical exercises (sticks, coordination, timing). After that, we work on grooves or fills, often using a play-along track or music chosen by the student. In band lessons, the emphasis is on playing with other instruments, rehearsal structure, and stage presence: how to play tightly together, present yourself on stage, and how to deal with issues that might occur during your performance. My specific skills lie in modern genres such as (indie) rock, metal, pop, and groove-based styles. As a mentor and an active performer in several bands, I can share not only technical knowledge but also stage experience, rehearsal tips, and help with gear recommendation and learning about auxiliary aspects (recording drums, stage tech, etc). The lessons are intended for students and young musicians of all levels—from absolute beginners learning their first beat to advanced players refining their technique or bands who want to take their rehearsal and live performance to the next level. Group lessons and beginner band coaching are also available, where we work together on ensemble playing, communication, and performing.
