Having worked as a teaching assistant and a tutor I specialise in tutoring maths and english for 4 - 19 year olds. I specialise in assisting in homework and helping students to advance in their class, rather than learning from scratch. I have helped students prepare for the 11 plus exams, GCSEs, A Levels, and Oxford / Cambridge entry interviews.

I have a BA Hons in English from Cambridge University, an MSc in Social Science and Public Policy from King's College London, and have worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Basel for the past year. I also have A* English, A* Maths, A Art, and A French at A Level.

I am a highly experienced native English Language teacher from New Zealand. I have taught English for four years to adults of all levels. My specialty is conversational English for spoken-fluency, exam preparation, and English for professional presentations.

I am now seeking new individuals or groups for communicative and interactive English Lessons in the Basel or Zurich area. My recommendation is a weekly schedule of two 1.5 hour classes for fast improvement. I am available to meet for private or group classes in home, workplace, university or a café.

I am half Spanish and half American. I grew up in Madrid and lived in Minnesota, USA for two years after getting my degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. I belive that excluding Mandarin and Hindi, English and Spanish are the two main languages in the world, and are essential in all sectors, both professionally and academically.
