Trusted teacher: Speaking english is an essential skill in this day and age and I believe as a tutor that I can boost your English Language Skills before you know it! I believe that the best way to learn a language is through a strong understanding of the basic grammar rules as well as just practicing speaking in real life situations. My classes will be divided into 2 parts with the first part focused on learning new grammar while the second part will be more focused on developing either the student's reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Additionally, I place an emphasis on learning English with applications in real life situations, and will adapt my lesson plans to the needs of each student. Additionally, I am willing to offer classes both online and in person. Trusted teacher: Hello to you who came across my profile :) My name is Nathalie and I am a singing teacher, studio singer and artist. It's never easy to sing in front of someone, that's why I will accompany you with gentleness and kindness so that you can gain confidence in your voice and understand it. :) My teaching methods used are: Estill Voice Training – Complete Vocal Technique – Primal Sounds – Speech Level Singing. These are new and innovative teaching methods in France that are based on the science and anatomy of the vocal apparatus. My courses are generally divided into three parts: - During the 'stretching/movement' part, you can take the time to relax each part of the body that may be experiencing tension (jaw, tongue, neck muscles, larynx, shoulders, back, legs, etc.). These massages, stretches and movements will also allow you to anchor yourself in the present so that you can sing freely afterwards. Then, we will work together on your breathing and breath support with fun exercises adapted to your level. - During the vocal warm-up, first, I will show you closed-mouth exercises to gently awaken your voice (SOVT technique). Secondly, you will be able to work with me on the different vocal registers (low/chest voice – M1, head voice/high voice – M2). We will also work on the different vocal placements (belting, mixed voice, falsetto, 'cry'/curbing, primary sounds) as well as the opening of the resonators (oral, nasal, pharyngeal cavity) to explore your timbre. We will also explore the use of various effects (twang, audible air, vocal flip, vibrato, etc.) to color your voice. The anatomy of each technique will be rigorously explained so as not to cause vocal injuries. - Finally, we will work together on a song, and we will unleash the potential of your voice, your emotions and your artistic expression on it! Indeed, I give an important place in my classes to the expression of emotions, to letting go and to artistic and scenic identity beyond the purely technical aspect of the voice. I believe that vocal technique is simply the palette of colors that you can use to paint your own musical picture. I can't wait to meet you to start our lessons! :) Sincerely, Natalie
