I specialize in helping students maintain a fluent conversation in Spanish using class time to improve pronunciation and fluency. At the same time, the student is provided with a practical guide where grammar will be explained and they will be able to do infinite practical exercises that help them improve their understanding and analysis of text. We also work with images, sounds and videos so that the student can recognize, interpret for themselves and improve their hearing ability. At the basic and intermediate levels I use a system where the student can listen, copy and repeat information similar to the beginning of learning their native language. I assign homework after each lesson and report student progress month by month. I specialize in students being able to maintain a fluent conversation in Spanish using class time to improve pronunciation and fluency. Trusted teacher: Hi! I'm a professional trumpet player from Australia now based in Amsterdam. I've spent the past 10 years freelancing with some of Australia's best orchestras (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Darwin Symphony Orchestra & Sydney Symphony Orchestra to name a few..), as well as recording sessions for pop/rock artists, film scores and music theatre. I've enjoyed diversifying my career by teaching in Australian schools, and now since I've moved I'm looking to help you with your goals now I'm here in Holland. I've taught students of all ages in classical, jazz, pop approaches to trumpet. My lessons are catered to your interests and your personal development. If you're an absolute beginner, no worries! We'll get you from making fart sounds to fun melodies soon enough. If you're a bit more experienced and wanting to improve your technique, you've come to the right place! I was lucky enough to be taught by some excellent heavyweight pedagogues in the scene, including David Elton (principal trumpet of London Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra), and Tristam Williams (international soloist). I've taken masterclasses with Wycliffe Gordon, Adam Rapa, James Morrison, Wayne Bergeron, Phillip Smith to name a few. I've got so much to share with you from those incredible teachers! And I've also formulated my own pedagogy along the way that I really believe in.
