My name is Torjus and I want to teach your children or yourself piano and saxophone. I am a generalist, more than a specialist, so that way I can teach basics in many areas. We can do techniques, practicing techniques, music theory, ear training, sight reading, playing together. I do mostly classical and rhytmical music and also a little jazz. The lessons are adapted to your skill level, and we will also talk about how you can help yourself get better. I have a over 10 years of experience with teaching children and youths, but adults are also welcome. If you want to know more about me, check out "About me" further down. I have only taught kids and youths, but adults are also welcome. Kids up to 10 years: 30 minutes. Youths 10-15 years old: up to 45 minutes. Adolescents/adults 16 and up: from 30 to 60 minutes. I speak English well, but I can also use French to teach basics, as I am currently learning French on level A2.

I am a piano teacher and I have taught piano for over 10 years, I teach classical music which is through the foundation to learn the song of the composer, the famous composer, you will learn Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, etc.

I can teach a 10-year-old child as well as a 60-year-old adult (Music has no age.) I teach at my home (Hospitals Faculties) or at your home depending on everyone's availability. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

The older I get, the more I love. Especially during these times of immense ugliness and hate, wars and conflict, music- that's always been all about love - is the home I keep returning to.
