Trusted teacher: Professional teacher, French, very experienced and very serious, I offer private lessons and tutoring at a distance (by Zoom or Skype) or face-to-face (Luxembourg-city and surroundings) in French for primary school and school secondary (French, history, geography), as well as French as a foreign language (FLE) courses for children and adults. I am always very attentive to the pupil or the student I have in front of me, his characteristics and his specificities, I thus adapt to the pupil in order to be as efficient as possible, that either in tutoring classes or in French as a foreign language classes. I therefore try to adapt as best as possible the methodology of the courses and the teaching aids used to the different students and their particularities, as my background shows: in total I have completed 26 years of teaching (higher education, secondary education, private lessons) to all kinds of audiences, in all kinds of conditions, and in 4 different countries: France, Luxembourg, Russia, Lithuania. I have in fact taught French middle and high school students; students from the Luxembourg school systems, from the European Schools in Luxembourg; to French, Lithuanian, Russian students...; to Lithuanian French teachers; to adults of different nationalities learning French in Luxembourg, etc. During the ten years of private lessons in Luxembourg, I carried out different types of lessons and activities: - courses in history, geography, French (primary and secondary schools), French for adults (FLE: French as a foreign language), - preparation for the French bac: French 2nd and 1st year classes (French literature), - supervision of a student enrolled in history-geography at the CNED (National Center for Distance Studies, France), - preparation for the French tests for the entrance exams to the Luxembourg civil service (summaries, discussions, method of the dissertation), - supervision of a summary test in French for a business school competition, - proofreading and correction of dissertations in French (higher education), etc.

Trusted teacher: I am an interactive teacher with 8 years of experience in schools and 16 years as a tutor. I have a strong background in physics and astronomy/astrophysics, and I have taught these subjects at the university level. My academic background includes studies in science, education, and science communication. My teaching approach is friendly, open, and engaging while maintaining clarity and directness. I believe in using a variety of materials, interactive simulations, and conceptual learning to make the learning experience enriching and enjoyable. As an educator, my online teaching abilities have significantly improved over time, and I am well-adapted to the online learning environment, especially given the previous situation with Covid. Teaching Methodology: Effective teaching goes beyond simply presenting information or repeating the same material. To truly help students grasp concepts, it is essential to approach subjects from various angles, allowing students time to make connections. Making learning interesting in a classroom setting requires practice and skill, and I have honed these abilities over many years. I am dedicated to continually enhancing my teaching skills as I both teach and learn myself! Reason for pricing: I am an expensive tutor, there is no doubt that my hourly rate is high, but there is a reason for this. I am very good at what I do. I am supportive, caring and I listen, reflect and share ideas / solutions / resources with students to work with and on both in our sessions and outside of it too. I make students feel comfortable to talk to me, make mistakes and engage with the content to the best of their abilities.

Trusted teacher: No, we don't think that being able to sing is absolutely necessary for actors. Not every actor or actress has the ambition to appear in a musical and not every series or film features singing. Still, vocal coaching is a good idea... whether you want to learn to sing or not! With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress. More info Anyone who has ambitions as a singer or who wants to expand his or her skills to make it easier to land a role will soon end up taking singing lessons... but also those who have no intention of ever performing songs. can benefit greatly from vocal coaching. You often have to be on set for a long time and then it is important to use your voice properly, so that it does not get tired and you can speak as powerfully after hours of recording as before. Finally, it is very useful to be able to put different effects on your voice. Just think of the raspy character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the barking explanations of Samson, the full voice of Kabouter Plop or the grunted insults exchanged in The Chronicles of Sabrina. Judiciously used voice effects can not only add color to characters, they are sometimes essential or almost automatically arise from emotional moments. So being able to use them correctly and maintain control over them without damaging your vocal cords is essential. What you learn As is the case with almost all of our courses, we teach you techniques from different approaches. For our singing lessons, these are Speech Level Singing (SLS), Estill Voice Training (EVT) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT). Here are some things that will pass in review: • The similarities and differences between the three major singing techniques • Using support • The larynx, lips, and other organs that help control voice production • Add necessary twang • Add air or not • Different vocal modes (with CVT): neutral, curbing, overdrive and edge. • Variety of voice effects including: creaking, distortion, grunting, rattling, screaming, vibrato and ornamentation • For actors: relationship between voice color, effects and the playing of all kinds of characters • For actors: the relationship between stem kle Extras • Help with the CV • Assistance with admissions • Help in choosing the right equipment • Help with finding auditions • Syllabus with pdf of the book Complete Vocal Technique You can participate whenever you want!

Private French classes in Paris with a qualified and experienced teacher ! (La Courneuve)
Jade

Jade is a truly excellent teacher of the French language with whom I have been having lessons for over a year. She’s is not only a native French speaker, but holds degrees in Linguistics, Teaching and Business, and has significant experience of teaching French over many years. The benefit of this is that she is able to effortlessly teach at any level, with a focus on actually speaking the language in conversation. We have had discussions about things as simple as ordering food in a restaurant to subjects as complex as planning application submissions and urbanism rules (I am an architect). I am certainly not a natural linguist, but through her teaching I have gone from someone who was nervous about ordering a croissant in French, to gaining the confidence to deal with the complex language found in the workplace, and in day-to-day life in France. I would highly recommend Jade, whether you are visiting Paris for a short holiday and want to brush up on some vocabulary, or have moved here permanently and want to broaden your command of the French language.

I have done already more than 5 lessons with Goncalo and I can highly reccomend him. He is very kind and patience, but mostly I great teacher. I was a beginner trying to learn playing guitar via internet without any success. But since I started taking lessons with Goncalo I improved quickly my skills. what we do during the lessons is playing together a song of my choice, first he shows me what the accords are and then we play :)

Rob is fantastic - warm, engaging, and patient. My 10-year-old son has been taking a weekly class with Rob for the entire school year. Rob is very responsive and communicative, so scheduling and other logistics have been smooth. He incorporates my son's interests into the lessons while building foundational skills. Rob has helped my son grow as a musician and, perhaps most importantly, maintain an enthusiasm for the process.
