A dedicated teacher committed to helping students find their musical voice and identity. Expertly engaging students in repertoire and subjects that will ground them in necessary skills and techniques required for musical success while allowing them the freedom to explore their artistic visions.

As an educator, this is my starting point. To find what the student is passionate about, meet them there, and use this as the starting point for growth and the introduction of new ideas and concepts.

In addition to my work as a teacher I am also a composer with extensive knowledge of various musical styles including classical, jazz, pop, film music, as well as a multi-instrumentalist accomplished on piano, cello, organ, and various world woodwinds.
