As a tutor, I am patient, adaptable, and passionate about fostering a positive learning environment. I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring that lessons are engaging and effective. My tutoring approach focuses on helping students build confidence and strong foundations in both language and mathematical concepts, adapting to their unique learning needs.

Education

Currently pursuing a BSc in Financial Economics at the University of Westminster, with an IB Diploma (28 marks) and GCSEs in Mathematics (Grade 9) and Chinese (Grade A).

Expérience / Qualifications

I am a dedicated tutor, currently teaching English to students aged 6 and 8, as well as Maths (MYP) and Mandarin (MYP) to a 14-year-old. I hold the National Putonghua Proficiency Test and have an IELTS score of 7.0. I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

Please Note: currently, I am studying at Oxford University. I prefer to teach via video call, and to teach in Oxford/ London.

I am native Chinese and have lived in different European countries for many years, working for international organizations. I am naive in Chinese, fluent in English/ Spanish and have intermediate level of French. I can teach you Chinese in English or Spanish. I taught adults/ students Chinese when I was in Europe. I am very interested in languages, cultures, and arts. I play Chinese traditional music (Guzheng). So, if you are interested, I can teach you Guzheng.
