I believe that every individual has their own unique way of learning, and it is my role as a teacher to adapt my methods and techniques accordingly. I promote a collaborative and experimental learning environment, where students can nurture their artistic personality and expressive abilities. I prioritize ensuring that my students find joy in learning and have the freedom to pursue their own interests and passions.

I completed my MA in Classical Voice Performance at the Hochschule der Musik Basel.

My journey in vocal training began at the age of 8 at the Cathedral Choir School in Utrecht. I pursued Classical Voice studies in Amsterdam from 2016 to 2018, and in 2021, I commenced my studies at the Hochschule für Musik Basel under the guidance of baritone Marcel Boone.

I have showcased my skills as a soloist in various Passion concerts, Bach cantata services, and collaborated with different ensembles for performances such as Orff's Carmina Burana, Handel's Dixit Dominus, Bach's Mass in B Minor, and Vivaldi's Gloria. Additionally, I took part in an opera production of Rossini's La Cenerentola. I am also an enthusiastic choir singer, having been a member of the Dutch Student National Chamber Choir and the World Youth Choir for several years.

I have years of experience teaching singing. In my vocal lessons, I have worked with students of all age groups, helping them improve their vocal abilities and develop their musical expressiveness. I have also taught in other subjects such as mathematics and English, where I assisted students in deepening their understanding of concepts and enhancing their skills in these subjects.

Through my experience in teaching various subjects, I've learned the importance of considering the individual needs and learning styles of each student, adapting my teaching methods accordingly. I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

I am a classical singer (mezzosoprano) from Barcelona. I started my musical studies playing the violin and the viola. I was singing in choirs from I was 5, and there my love for singing started. I studied my bachelor degree in The Neteherlands with the teacher Hanneke de Witt, I have a double degree: performence and pedagogy. Now I am going to do my master with Marcel Bonne.
My main goal when I teach is to help the student to find the freedom on the vocal, physical and mental expression. I like to work on music but also on tecninc. I think it is a very important part to find the freedom. I ike to create a lovely space when I teach where the student can find the support and the freedom to try out different things. I have a lot of patience, as a singer you need to be patient and to try again and again.
I love to help the students to find their way to teach themselves so they don't need that much lessons in the futur.

Singer trained at the Schola Cantorum of Basel (from medieval chant to the 20th century), I offer a general singing course: basic vocal technique (posture, breath work, sound work), discovery of different repertoires (depending on the student's tastes; pop repertoires also possible), work on interpretation. I can accompany the student on the keyboard. I work with people of all ages, beginners or not. The goal is to progress in a climate of trust.

You can also contact me for music theory lessons only (reading notes and rhythm, deciphering, notions of music theory, ear work).

I finally give piano lessons to beginners.

I can give the course in French or English, German and Spanish are also possible.
Lessons can take place at my home or at the student's home.

Everybody can sing!
In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself.
In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians.
I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Let's have fun!

Learning to sing is a process that comes from within; a story that makes you take the step to improve yourself; to find a way to discover what you believe is best for you and your voice.
But what are we looking for in a singing lesson? Are we really aware of this? Regardless of your level, it is important to be aware of your singing practice as it connects us to our essence and allows us to more accurately express who we are. There will be mistakes, there will be moments of doubt, but I am here to accompany you. The voice will gradually reveal itself, like a stone being carved to express the object of our imagination and desires.

For this reason, in addition to music and singing lessons, I offer a whole path guided by meditation and personal coaching that allows you to improve your relationship with your voice, but also your relationship with yourself.

I offer music theory lessons for all ages and levels (starting from age 10 onwards)
I help pupils to develop the ability to read and sight sing music and, to develop and expand their hearing and intonation skills.
I adapt my lessons to the student's needs and level but I'm also happy to provide a more structured program to prepare exams and auditions for music students wishing to enter a conservatory or music academy (solfége, reading, writing, dictation and basic harmony) .
My top priority is that students have fun and enjoy themselves during the process of learning.

I teach in English, Spanish, Italian and French.

I help students develop their ability to sight read and sing, as well as develop and expand their hearing and intonation skills.
