This course is for those interested in learning watercolour painting skills and techniques. You will learn about layering watercolours to add depth and detail when painting from reference photos. I will show you various watercolour techniques that have different effects on paper and explain how to utilise colours to display mood and meaning in an art piece.

Ideally, it would be better if you have your own watercolour paints, brushes and watercolour paper but if you don't, I can provide you the supplies.

Going back to the basics is sometimes a key process when mastering your craft in the Art & Design subject. Often when studying an Art subject for GCSE or A Level, you may not already have the basic skills but learn things as you go.
However, I have designated this session to give you a head start and to provide a helping hand if students struggle more when it comes to art especially. This session will focus on providing simple steps to drawing an object or person as my specialty is in portraiture drawing and sketching in pencils.
