I am a professional guitarist, composer and experienced guitar teacher. I graduated in Jazz Guitar at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Bachelor and Master).
I teach in my studio in The Hague (Regentessekwartier) and online via Zoom. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to advanced, from young to old.

The topics I often cover in my classes are:
Guitar technique (classical guitar technique or pick);
Understanding the fretboard: scales, intervals, chords;
Repertoire: Jazz, Classical, Pop, Rock, Folk, etc.;
Ear training: development of musical hearing in relation to the instrument;
Music theory, harmony, rhythm.

This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts freely.
I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will be special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed, and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities.

In our music lessons, together we find small goals connected to our daily lives. The goals can be different for everyone, but we will think our music making beyond our lessons rooms - it will boosts your motivations! You can expect a lot imageries and creativity in our lessons; it not only make us more musical, but it helps our motor skills as well. You will learn different styles, technique, self expression, and skills to make music together. A bit of music theory and solfege will always be a part of our lessons, and if you want to have more emphasis on them, we can do that, too. You can always bring them if you find a nice piece that you want to learn.

You will have occasional performance opportunities ensemble opportunities as well.

Emiliano is Italian guitarist based in Den Haag (NL).
His passion for jazz ,since the high school years, brought him to study jazz guitar in the Netherlands, having the possibility to learn from some of the best teachers and musicians.
He’s currently studying jazz guitar with the Dutch jazz guitarist Martijn Van Ieterson. He also studied with Antoine Boyer and Pedro Martins .He performed with names such Chris Cheek, Philippe Maniez, Eric Ineke, Rob Van Bavel and many more.
Currently he is leader of his own trio with Davids Eglitis and Arjun Ramdas. The trio mostly perform original music and standards from the American Songbook.
In 2023 he won The Grachten Festival Competition (NL) Barga Jazz (IT) and Fara Music (IT) with the Marco Ullstein quintet.
In 2024 he had the chance to perform with the Jazz Orchestra of the Congertgebouw in the main hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (NL).

¡Hola! Soy Nico. Tengo 21 años y toco la guitarra flamenca. He aprendido flamenco de diferentes profesores. Empecé a aprender en youtube pero seguí estudiando con Johan (De Regahs) en La Haya y con Mario en España. Si siempre has querido aprender flamenco ¡no dudes en contactarme! With over 15 years of teaching experience, I offer private guitar lessons in many styles for all ages and all levels. I am also an active performer, mostly performing my own singer-songwriter music in the folk-rock genre. Classes are offered in English, Dutch and German.

I am from Los Angeles originally where I received my degree in music with a minor in Classical Guitar from California State University, Northridge.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old. Back in those days, I was mostly inspired by rock music, learning to play by ear by listening to the radio. Later, I went to Conservatory and studied classical music, therefore learning in a more structured way. This gives me a unique approach to teaching, because I understand playing by ear and feeling, as well as having a background in music theory. It is a mix of these two worlds that I offer in my lessons. In this way, my students progress quickly while having a basis of how music works so that they can continue to grow for endless years to come.

My approach to teaching is to get lasting results for the students and to make sure they have a great time. The lessons are light and joyful, as music should be. I work hard to make sure my students experience the rewards of reaching new plateaus regularly as they progress. It is also important to me that my students play songs/pieces that they enjoy playing. We will discuss your musical tastes, or work to discover the musical tastes of your child.

Después de más de 13 años de experiencia en la guitarra puedo decir con confianza que puedo transmitir todo lo que aprendí en el instrumento a estudiantes de todas las edades y niveles.
Dediqué la mayor parte de mi tiempo al instrumento a superar luchas y encontrar tácticas para corregir malos hábitos y aprender de manera efectiva.
Juntos podemos explorar secretos y consejos para una rutina saludable de práctica de guitarra, mejorar tu técnica y habilidades de entrenamiento auditivo con ejercicios directos y divertidos.
