I'm an energetic, professional ESL teacher with over two decades of teaching experience, both online and in schools. I have a Bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University and have held a teaching certification in the state of Texas, I'm a Native English speaker and have a TESOL.
I teach because I am passionate about inspiring young children to love English. I know the value of speaking English and the opportunities that it provides. I also understand that my younger students do not always understand the value that good English will offer them. Therefore, I make it my job to make English fun and enjoyable for them to learn. It is my honor to be a part of this valuable education. I have taught children of all ages, from 3 years old and up. My classroom is fun and friendly. I always greet my students with a smile and provide a warm, encouraging learning environment.
I use the Classin virtual classroom to teach, which provides a lovely interactive online class experience. I offer several different curriculum options, including Reach Higher, Oxford Reading Tree, Wonders, Disney Reading, KizPhonics and FredisLearns.

I am an American from Dallas, Texas. However, I currently live in India. I moved here 3 years ago and have lived in three major Indian locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Goa. I have also traveled extensively around Thailand and hope to also visit China someday. I look forward to the possibility of meeting some of my students!
I find it exciting to immerse myself in other cultures to learn about the differences in family life, history, food, and special celebrations, I am very grateful for the rich life experiences I have gained from living abroad. My hobbies include taking dance classes and singing for audiences. I love to be creative in many ways, including visual arts and writing. I enjoy spending time in nature with friends and alone, meditating. I try to include all of these hobbies in my travel experiences as well. Life is an amazing adventure!
