Teaching English for children or adults!

Hello my name is Monica!
I come from London and I can speak English, French and Albanian. During my childhood, I traveled and lived in different countries across Europe due to my parents' movements. I was very lucky to have been given the opportunity at such a young age to experience and learn about the fascinating cultures and dynamic history of different countries.
After a long adventure running around Europe, I now set my foot in Bordeaux. It's a very beautiful region that cultivates most of the world's most prestigious wines and is home to France's deep aristocratic roots. I love France and am a fan of gastronomy. The Fench cuisine is remarkable and I have met so many people from different cultures integrating from all over the world due to the expanding markets.
In my spare time, I enjoy the simple pleasures of playing the cello, reading the latest business news, walking my dog, learning new languages and visiting new places.
I now teach part time in French private primary schools for students aged between 4-12 in Bordeaux. I have lots of past experiences working with children and am described as a playful, supportive and creative teacher.
Thanks to my experience as an English teacher in Bordeaux. I have implemented innovative teaching approaches for students to meet the requirements of individual education plans. I have also worked one-on-one with students in need of individualized attention and developed learning plans for classroom learning. I make sure to always follow a hands-on program to promote students' interest and enthusiasm in my class.
Basically, in class I follow a simple and fun approach to teaching young learners. I use flashcards, props and activities to support my students. I developed an easy to chew curriculum to teach based on school and national requirements. To make sure that my classes are on track I monitor my pupils' understanding of my classes and use the strategy of Test-Teach-Test. To asses my pupils I would first assess my pupils by giving a short quiz, then I would address the gaps in learning with my student and go over the context again. Finally, the last step of my process would be by giving a pop quiz so my students would feel more confidence and understanding in their learning.
If you would have any interest in joining me with your language learning please don't hesitate to contact me whatever level you are at English. I look forward to sharing the exciting learning path with you!

I was very lucky to have been given the opportunity at such a young age to experience and learn about the fascinating cultures and dynamic history of different countries.
Due to my fluid movement of travel, I received my education in many different countries such as England, Slovakia, Albania and Ireland. I sat my Irish Leaving Cert (equivalent to the Baccalauréat) last summer in 2023 and then decided to pursue my career in teaching. Luckily, I made a connection with a french educational company called Language Connexions which then supported me in my training with Cambridge ESL. Later, I continued my training in TEFL and gained my qualification in January 2023.
