Knowing another language can open many doors in your professional, academic, and personal lives. Knowing English can open almost all of them. For Russian speakers, English is becoming more important than ever as international opportunities become increasingly available for education and work. Learning a language with a different writing system, gender system, and case system is a challenging feat, but it is key for participating in the expanding global community. This class is designed to help Russian speakers improve their English. At any level or age, I will work with you by discussing your aims and making a plan to get you to them. The sessions will depend on your skill level and your personal goals. We may work on your business communications, use of English slang and expressions, reading comprehension, pronunciation, or if you are new to the language, start with basic structures, grammar, and vocabulary.
