This course is an introduction to standard Mandarin Chinese language, catering to both students with little to no prior background in Mandarin and those aiming to improve their existing skills. Students will concentrate on acquiring essential vocabulary, refining pronunciation, and grasping basic grammatical structures. Through this foundation, students will develop the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin within everyday contexts. The course emphasizes practical listening and speaking exercises, alongside instruction in reading and writing Chinese characters. Also, students can explore the culture in China.
