Hello! I’m Ottaviano, an Italian language teacher for foreigners 🇮🇹.

I have a deep love for the Italian language and culture, and sharing this passion with my students is a true joy for me. Teaching Italian means not only explaining grammar rules, but guiding each person through a world of sounds, words, gestures, and traditions.

I have experience teaching Italian to students of different ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I like to create dynamic, personalized lessons where every student feels engaged and motivated. I use authentic materials, communicative activities, and plenty of conversation practice to make learning natural and enjoyable.

My goal is to help you communicate confidently and spontaneously in Italian, adapting each lesson to your personal needs—whether you’re learning for travel, work, or life in Italy, we’ll build your path together.

I see myself as a friendly, patient, and curious person; I believe that a positive and relaxed atmosphere is the best foundation for learning a language.

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests, and availability of the student. I can offer students private accommodation in Pisa, a comfortable private apartment in the historic center of the city, a short walk from my home.

- The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also, the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.
