I started playing trombone at the age of nine. I have been a professional since 1972 and have played in many bands, including in Las Vegas, Nevada. I had a band in the 1970s, which toured in 14 states. I studied trombone with the famous Dr. Donald S. Reinhardt, in college, and also with Art Sayres of Las Vegas, who studied with Tommy Dorsey's teacher.

Über mich
Composer – Musician – Singer
Growing up, in a very small but quaint town in West Virginia, Chuck was inundated with music from the forties— the musical era of his parents’ teenage years and twenties. He became a fan of 40s music right after a famous rock group had a song on the radio with a double negative in the lyrics. Radio no longer gave him satisfaction, in and of itself.
Chuck’s sister is literally a prodigy and, to this day, she’s a truly phenomenal pianist. His great aunt, a graduate of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, played piano in silent movies way back in the 1920s. After Chuck put in his time at Marshall University, he continued his music studies privately with some of the finest teachers in the world in Philadelphia and in Las Vegas. He then went on the road with his own eight-piece band.
Chuck has been singing all his life; he began piano lessons at the age of eight, and trombone at the age of nine. He played trombone in his eight-piece band, touring the entire Midwest and Southeast U.S. — a total of twelve states. From there, he moved to Las Vegas and lived and performed there for eighteen years.

Acting and Directing
There is more. Three years, Chuck wrote, directed, and acted in radio plays, which were aired on public radio. Previous to these, he was a Thespian in high school, accumulating the highest number of Thespian points (for performances) of anyone from his school, having acted in plays and performed around 300 times as a singer.

Commercial Production and Voiceovers
Then there were several voiceovers, radio commercials, and jingle production. Doing radio commercials, he delivered in the markets of Las Vegas, Nevada and in Orlando, Florida. Here is a commercial Chuck produced in its entirety, which was on the air in Orlando.

Musician, Singer, and Bandleader
Not only did Chuck sing in Las Vegas shows, but he also played trombone in some of the big bands of Las Vegas. His wife, Sheree, a dancer, singer, language teacher (French, English, and German) and he decided to form a duo in Las Vegas and worked in major hotels. In recent times, they have worked many venues in Central Florida (Orlando area)

Vocal Coach
Along the way, Chuck also has done extensive vocal coaching, production, arranging, and composition. He has worked with several thousand students in Florida and in several foreign countries via the internet. Some of his students have been on Broadway, some have had recording contracts, and some have been on television in singing competition shows such as The Voice and Sing-Off.
Chuck believes in the old-fashioned way of developing an artist, but definitely doesn’t object to talented people being able to get a leg up in the business, as long as they are prepared. It’s part of paying the dues and earning the right to be on stage. Many singers cannot sing a chromatic scale, a cappella. Chuck can show you how.
Bildung
Marshall University, majored in music, extensive private lessons with professionals in Las Vegas in vocal technique (Debra Bonner-now in Hollywood and Greg Enriquez and a day with the guru of those gurus, Seth Riggs), arranging (With Don Hannah), and performing. Studied trombone in Philadelphia with Dr. Donald S. Reinhardt and learned breathing techniques beyond what is required for singers.
Erfahrung / Qualifikationen
Professional singer and trombonist in my touring band in 14 states in U.S., sang in shows in Las Vegas and did performances in the Orlando, Florida area, produced commercials in Las Vegas and Orlando, have written over 2500 musical works and still writing most days.

I use a very safe and effective vocal technique that helps singers to sing without a break in the voice, to have the endurance, flexibility and power required for modern singing in every style. I teach proper effective breathing techniques to give you the control you need.

My students have appeared on American TV (The Voice, American Idol, and SingOff), some have been touring recording artists, and some on Broadway. We can work toward such professional goals.

I teach musicianship for singers so that they can sing better in tune and to do phrasing which is stylistically appropriate to the genre they choose.

I work with beginning singers, intermediate, and all the way to advanced or professional level singers.

I am a professional singer. I have sung in shows in Las Vegas, Orlando, and in 14 states in the U.S. I also have produced singing commercials in Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida.

I have a few books for singers, including one I use in teaching, which is 425 pages.

Violin and viola learning for adult beginners and returning players or in the band
SEE ENGLISH BELOW

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.

I teach classical and electric violin, always tailored to the student. The lessons can also be carried out using the Suzuki method.

Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions.
best regards
Julia

In just 4 weeks, I will take you... yes, YOU, with zero experience, no “music talent”, no clue where to start, and show you exactly how to play the songs you love... step by step... Just like I’ve already done for over 200 students before you.

What If I Handed You The Exact Tools, Secrets, And Proven Methods To Finally Master The Accordion... And Made Sure You Actually Used Them?

Listen, you don’t need to be “born with talent.” You don’t need to start young. And you sure as heck don’t need to figure this out alone.

Here’s what you’ll get when you step inside the Accordion Joy Academy:

✔️ Private access to our inner circle community. The place where accordion lovers, from total beginners to seasoned players, share victories, swap tips, and lift each other up.
✔️ The secret techniques to play with virtuosity, even if your fingers feel like sausages right now.
✔️ Complete lesson recordings, sheet music, video breakdowns, playlists, and books, all at your fingertips, so you’ll never feel stuck or lost again.
✔️ A rich, exciting repertoire built around classical gems, but customized to your taste. Want tango? Folk? Movie themes? You got it.
✔️ Music theory made simple, practical, and 100% tied to what you’re actually playing. No fluff. No lectures.
✔️ Speed-learning strategies that help you tackle new pieces faster than you thought possible.
✔️ Clear, motivating goals and a roadmap to get you from where you are now to where you dream of being.
✔️ Study schemes and practice blueprints, designed to squeeze every drop of progress out of the time you have.
✔️ Performance coaching so you don’t just “play notes”... you tell stories through your instrument.
✔️ Weekly working schedules, study guides, to-do lists and action plans. No guesswork. Just follow the plan and watch yourself improve.

This is a rebellion against the idea that you have to be “born talented” or “start at age 5” to become a musician.
I’ll prove it to you.

Why Settle for One Style... When You Can Master Them All?

Most beginners stop at one song... one style... one small win. Not here. Not you.
Because once you learn the system I teach... You won’t just play music, you’ll travel the world without leaving your home...

🎻 Baroque – Music that once echoed in royal courts. You’ll command it like a master.
🎹 Classical – The greats. Mozart. Beethoven. You’ll whisper their language through your bellows.
💃 South American – Think tango, milonga, the kind of rhythms that seduce people off their seats. (Warning: May cause spontaneous dancing.)
🎬 Pop & Movie Music – Themes that make people cry, smile, and remember. Everyone knows these tunes... and now, they’ll know you can play them.
🎩 Musette – That dreamy, nostalgic sound from a smoky Paris café. You don’t just play Musette, you paint a picture.
🎺 Klezmer – Raw. Soulful. Sometimes sad, sometimes wild. Always unforgettable.
🎷 Jazz – This isn’t “just notes.” It’s attitude. It’s freedom. You’ll feel it in your bones.
🍀 Irish Folk – Fast, fun, and full of character. You’ll be grinning every time you squeeze out a reel or jig.
🏴‍☠️ Scottish Folk – Stirring. Bold. Warrior music with soul. You’ll feel it in your chest.
🥁 Balkan Folk – Offbeat rhythms and wild melodies that dare you to stay in your seat.
🧠 Contemporary Classical – Modern, expressive, and unlike anything you’ve heard before. It’s where the old world meets the new.

And when they hear you play... they’ll ask, “Where did you learn to do that?”

You’ll smile... because you’ll know.
It started right here.

Hi, I'm Nikola, Your Teacher.
I wasn’t born with a gift.
At five years old, I picked up an accordion that was almost bigger than me. I didn’t know it then, but that single moment would shape the rest of my life.

Since that day, I’ve dedicated over two decades to mastering this beautiful, misunderstood instrument. And along the way, I discovered something powerful, you don’t need to be born with talent, perfect timing, or a famous last name to make music. You just need a little courage to start... and the right guide to help you along the way.

In 2020, I graduated from the prestigious ArtEZ Conservatory in The Netherlands with a degree in accordion teaching. But truth be told, most of what makes me the teacher I am today didn’t come from a classroom. It came from the stage. From competitions. From the nerves before a performance and the applause that follows. I’ve been honored to win the Dutch National Accordion Competition. Twice. But what matters more is this:

I know exactly what it feels like to think something’s too difficult.
I’ve seen students who thought they were too old, too inexperienced, or too busy. People who believed music wasn’t for them, until they realized it was.

That’s why I created Accordion Joy Academy. Because whether you’re 5 or 75, whether you’ve played before or not, you can learn to play the accordion. And I’ll prove it to you.

If you’ve ever caught yourself thinking, “I wish I could do that”, now’s your moment.
I’ll meet you where you are, and together, we’ll turn those old doubts into music.

30 Days from Now... You'll Be Playing Your First Song, Or You Get Every Cent Back.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched an accordion in your life... or if you haven’t learned something new in years... Because with my step by step method, you will play your first song in just 30 days, proudly, confidently, and with a smile on your face.

And if you don’t? If you try and it simply isn’t for you? Just let me know. I’ll refund every penny.

Because at this stage in life, you deserve more than empty promises. You deserve real joy, real results, and a risk-free way to experience both. Let’s make these next 30 days start of something beautiful.
