I am offering private piano tutoring at beginner and intermediate level, for students of any age! My goal is to make you enjoy your playing and I can also help you work towards ABRSM grades if this is what you’re looking for.

I was a classical piano student at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester for 7 years and continued to study music for a year in Paris. I achieved a distinction at grade 8 ABRSM piano (the highest grade available), with 1 year of experience tutoring piano for a child who was 9 years old. However, I also have experience with tutoring in other fields (maths and physics).

I am a recent structural engineering graduate, having received a first-class masters degree from the University of Sheffield. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE in Maths and physics, and an A* in both at A level. I have experience tutoring students at GCSE and A level, currently I tutor 4 students online, and have helped other students with revision for A level and university exams.

I also studied French and Italian with the Modern Foreign Languages department, up to a level C1 in both. I am also a native Spanish speaker. I have experience tutoring English to children, having spent a year in Paris doing this.

Graduated with a first-class master's degree in structural engineering, I am a lively, motivated, and creative person. I am offering private tutoring lessons in maths and physics. I have two years of experience in tutoring maths and physics, some in person, but a lot of it online through the platform mytutor. As well as helping GCSE and A level students, I have tutored University students who are studying engineering or STEM subjects with revision for maths modules that are part of their course.

As well as this, I also have two years of experience tutoring maths and physics up to A level. I am lively and friendly, and can make the lessons tailored to you so that language learning becomes an enjoyable experience! Together, we will work on your grammar and pronunciation, as well as go through class content and prepare for your exams so that you get the grades you want.

I am a vastly experienced violinist and composer with a Masters Degree from the prestigious Lucerne Hochschule - Musik in Switzerland and Postgraduate Degree from Trinity Laban in London. I'm a very dedicated teacher, who loves to work with students from all age groups and levels of experience - one of the joys of teaching for me has been to help others find their own potential through consistent work.

I structure the class around three different aspects:
* addressing technical issues - intonation, bow technique and sound quality, posture

Music is a soul-enriching experience and developing musical skills can be a great gift for a lifetime.

With solo piano performance degrees from the Royal Academy of Music (London) and the Universität der Künste (Berlin) I am a highly qualified award-winning concert pianist with almost 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for education. My musical learning was also furthered by postgraduate musicological studies at Royal Holloway and serious interests in philosophy, religions, history, civilization, literature, poetry, law, languages as well as many other things. I loved my musical journey which included not only piano but also composition, the violin, recorder, flute, harpsichord and clavichord from childhood onwards. In the last two decades, teaching has been giving meaning to my life and I enjoy helping others to find fulfillment as well as joy in their learning.

My teaching approach is comprehensive, builds up confidence and incorporates a multidisciplinary orientation thanks to which students get promptly enthused over their learning. There is a focus on enhancing musical understanding, developing or improving reading skills, building up technique, expanding repertoire in a healthy way and foundationally preventing or sorting out injuries as well as pain-related problems. Although my teaching style is primarily quality-oriented with regards to skills, I believe that happiness, confidence, results and a sane sense of achievement are important components to balance in holistic education and offer a non-judgemental, patient, kind, equality-oriented, multicultural environment in which learning can thrive.

I encourage students to perform in concerts, festivals, exams and competitions. Many have won prizes in numerous competitions and passed exams with distinctions.
