I am an Australian musician currently living in beautiful Brno! I have been teaching, recording and performing music professionally since 2013 and have a degree in jazz vocals from the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia. I have also undertaken intensive private study in jazz guitar and double bass. I specialise in teaching: - Guitar, ukulele & double bass skills for singers & songwriters - Singing skills for guitarists, bassists, pianists and other instrumentalists - Singing & vocal coaching (absolute beginner to advanced) - Guitar & ukulele tuition (absolute beginner to advanced) - Double bass tuition (absolute beginner to intermediate, French bow & jazz pizzicato technique) - Music theory, songwriting, lyric writing, composition & creativity (absolute beginner to advanced jazz theory) - Home recording & music production - Lyric writing and pronunciation in English (for non native speakers) I teach all contemporary genres, and many of my students are singer-songwriters who play guitar, ukulele or bass while singing. I am a friendly and patient teacher, and love teaching beginners as well as advanced students. I tailor my lessons to your own goals, skill level and interests, and prefer to teach a combination of your own favourite songs plus song suggestions from me that I think will help you improve certain areas. I love teaching songwriting, and enjoy when students bring their own songs to work on in lessons. If you have never written your own song but secretly dream of trying I am the teacher for you :-) I find it easiest to teach in English, but can also communicate in German (A2) and Czech (A1).
