You will learn the most important theoretical aspects of physical chemistry necessary for solving problems at National and International Chemical Olympiads and put them to use in a myriad of problems from previous Olympiads. We will walk through the solutions for problems from the Olympiads of different countries: Canada, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, and others. All problems will be translated into English, so you will be able to access material that your peers can't. Homework will include solving other problems from past Olympiads and doing simpler practice problems.
Additionally, we will look at the practical applications of the theories and what philosophical implications they might have.

Den Lernstoff wird euch jederzeit zugänglich sein.

Organic Chemistry doesn’t have to be memorization overload. It can actually make perfect sense once you gain all the pieces and some intuition. In this class, we’ll focus on why reactions happen, not just what happens.
We’ll start with the basics — structure, acid-base behavior, resonance, and stability — then move into core reaction types like electrophilic addition (alkenes and alkynes), nucleophilic substitution and elimination, electrophilic aromatic substitution (EAS), reductions, oxidations, and aldol reactions.
You’ll learn to see patterns, predict mechanisms, and connect topics intuitively, so you can stop memorizing and start understanding. My goal is to make organic chemistry feel like solving a puzzle — once you know the rules, the pieces start to fit perfectly.
