يعد علم الفيزياء من أهم العلوم التي عرفها الإنسان، ويعرف باسم علم الطبيعة لارتباط فروعه بمختلف الظواهر التي تحدث في هذا الكون، حيث يعمل هذا العلم على تفسير هذه الظواهر بشكل تفصيلي، والإتيان على ذكر خطواتها، وكيف تعمل المؤثرات الطبيعية والتفاعلات التي تحدث في الكون على تشكّلها، وهناك العديد من الفروع لهذا العلم من أهمها فيزياء الحركة، والطاقة، والكهرباء، والمغناطيسية، والفيزياء الحديثة، ويحتوي كل فرع من هذه الفروع على تعريفات فيزيائية وقوانين خاصة، وهذا يزيد من أهمية هذا العلم وانعكاساته
، ومن أهم هذه التطبيقات التي تُبرِز أهمية الفيزياء في حياتنا ما يلي:

الكهرباء: تعد الكهرباء من أهم التطبيقات الفيزيائية المباشرة في حياة الناس، ويمكن إدراك أهمية الكهرباء من خلال الحالة التي يعيشها الناس خلال الدقائق التي ينقطع فيها التيار الكهربائي عن المنازل، حيث تتوقف كافة الأجهزة الكهربائية عن العمل، وتنطفئ الإنارة، ويصبح أسلوب الحياة صعبًا.
الحركة: إن تطبيقات قوانين الحركة لا يمكن حصرها، وتتوزع في العديد من التطبيقات التي يستخدمها الإنسان في حياته اليومية، فحركة السيارات، والقطارات، والطائرات كلها مبنية على قوانين الحركة في الفيزياء، كما أن المحركات التي تعمل بها كافة الأجهزة تعد من التطبيقات الفيزيائية العملية في الواقع المعاش.
تحولات الطاقة: توجد الطاقة على العديد من الأشكال في هذا العالم، ويتم الاستفادة منها إما بشكل مباشر، أو من خلال تحويلها إلى أشكال أخرى من الطاقة، فهناك الطاقة الشمسية، والطاقة الحركية، والطاقة الكهربائية، وطاقة الرياح، ويتم التحويل بين هذه الأشكال المختلفة من الطاقة عبر مبادئ فيزيائية مخصوصة، ومن أمثلة ذلك المولد الكهربائي الذي يحول الطاقة الحركية إلى طاقة كهربائية يمكن إعادة الاستفادة منها.
عمل الظواهر الكونية، وكافة الأجهزة التي تعمل ضمن تطبيقات علوم الفيزياء المختلفة، حيث إن ذلك يساهم في زيادة القدرة على التعامل مع كافة تفاصيل الحياة بشكل أسهل، ويمهد الطريق لإجراء العديد من التطويرات من خلال البحوث الفيزيائية التي تتم على هذه التطبيقات المختلفة من أجل تحسينها وعكسها على الحياة

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology).
