Over mij
Ik ben Tom en heb mijn master Finance & Investments behaald aan de Erasmus Universiteit. Ik vind het leuk om mijn enthousiasme en kennis over onderwerpen als bedrijfseconomie, economie, financiën en accounting te delen met iedereen die ik begeleid! Tijdens en na mijn studie heb ik gewerkt bij een investeerder, investeringsbank en wetenschappelijk onderzoeksinstituut, en momenteel ben ik bezig met het opzetten van mijn eigen bedrijf. Sinds 2020 geef ik regelmatig bijles; zowel aan middelbare scholieren als aan volwassenen die een masteropleiding volgen.

Hi! I graduted from All Hallows’ School and am currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) at the University of Queensland majoring in Accounting and Finance. I received an ATAR of 95.20 and achieved A grades in Accounting, Business, Economics, and Study of Religon.

Mathematics can often feel complex and overwhelming, but with the right approach, it becomes much more manageable and even enjoyable. My goal as a tutor is to help students not only understand the material, but also find the learning method that works best for them.

I work with students at school level, SAT level, and university level, supporting them in building a strong foundation and progressing confidently through their subjects.

My teaching approach begins with identifying each student’s gaps in understanding. I then provide clear explanations using simple language, structured steps, and relatable examples. Once the concept is understood, I guide students through practice, allowing them to apply what they’ve learned and develop real confidence in problem-solving. Many of my students see improvement within a few lessons.

I also create personalized exercises tailored to each student, helping reinforce knowledge and target specific weaknesses.

Beyond improving grades, I focus on helping students:
