My method is based on a communicative approach which means my classes focus on making the students speak and produce the language actively.
Especially for the beginners, I focus a lot on vocabulary rather than grammatical perfection because I have always found it more motivating to establish communication, instead of fighting with complex German grammar structures which most likely will inhibit speech.
Most importantly, we will have fun in our lessons. The best motivator is that you feel comfortable and that you look forward to our classes. I promise not to bore you in your free time.

About Me

I am a German native and have been a teacher for the last 5 years in Madrid and in Berlin. I myself have been a language learner many times and understand the difficulties of overcoming the initial fear of speaking. German can scare people because of its complex grammar and never-ending words that are mainly composed of consonants. Depending on your goals, we will adapt the class to your needs and there is no point in speeding up the process when you don't feel comfortable in the basics. I focus a lot on vocabulary (because of the scary consonants everywhere) and repeat the basics a lot, so you don't get lost on the higher levels.
I always create an easy-going atmosphere where you can stop and ask me at any time and feel free to make as many mistakes as you like. Just jump in there and give it your best shot.
