A fun way to practice your Italian by testing your comprehension skills and exploring Italian songwriting through songs by Fabrizio De André, Francesco De Gregori, Franco Battiato, Lucio Dalla, and many others. The songs test our semantic and grammatical skills, allowing us to understand a fundamental aspect of Italian music, and are an excellent starting point for conversation in the language.

About Me
Hello, my name's Christina, but everyone calls me Nike, and I'm from Sardinia, an Italian island with an amazing culture and breathtaking natural landscapes. I have a bachelor's degree in Italian Literature, although my thesis focused on Hispano-American Literature. I love learning languages, so I am well aware of the challenges this can involve (especially when you're a bit shy). I have years of experience tutoring students both in-person and online from all around the world. I'm currently finishing my master's degree in Modern Literature and I enjoy reading and writing short stories, I love literature, music, nature, and photography, and I always enjoy a good hike in the woods with my dog.

I like to teach Italian by offering my students topics of conversation and reading about their interests and Italian culture. I’m also a published author of short stories, so I have all the necessary experience to fine-tune your writing. Each lesson is personalized based on the student, their learning style, and their interests.
