This class is designed to help high school students build strong academic writing skills for English class and other subjects. Each lesson focuses on one core skill—such as writing a clear thesis, structuring body paragraphs, improving analysis, or strengthening grammar and clarity. Students learn step-by-step methods for planning, drafting, and revising essays so they can write with confidence and meet high-school expectations. In addition, this class can also support students with literary analysis essays, research-based writing, reading responses, and homework assignments. Lessons include modeling, guided practice, and individualized feedback so students understand exactly how to improve their writing.
